Game for 6-year-olds pushes same-sex marriage. Milton Bradley’s game “Life” now has same sex marriages.

World Net Daily receives a tip from the mother of a 6 year old girl and decided to test it out. So it looks like this classic has now kowtowed to the brown skirts.

The online version of a popular board game from many Americans’ childhood includes an option for players to choose homosexual marriage and child-rearing as a way of life.

Through the Shockwave.com website, even children can download and play a free trial version of The Game of Life, the first game ever created by Mr. Milton Bradley in 1860.

The player’s first option in the online version is to choose a persona based on pictures that clearly depict men and women. Shortly thereafter, the game invites players to choose a spouse, regardless of the potential spouse’s sex.

One concerned mother wrote to WND about her experience with downloading the game to play with her daughter.

“You know how kids are,” the mother told WND.

“My daughter noticed right away (even before I did) and clicked on one of the girls instead of one of the men and then asked, ‘Mom, how come I can marry a woman?’ And then that led into a lot more questions that, quite frankly, I was not ready to talk to my 6-year-old about.”

WND followed the mother’s example and played a game as “Jennifer,” who chose to marry another woman. The course of the game eventually added four children to WND’s lesbian couple.

Just one question for Milton Bradley. Will this version be available in the Middle East as well?

Don't like it?

Don’t buy it. The company has no obligation to do otherwise. You control your kids, not Milton Bradley and not the government.

I agree

Also why would she even think about marriage.. I think a child not exposed to that would laugh or something because it was silly, not ask a question like that and then go back and correct it.
It reminds me of when parents get so upset over Nickelodian over what *their* children will be exposed to! Speak out against it because it’s public and we have an obligationt to do that but those are your kids get rid of the telvision if you don’t want them exposed to it.

Kids know same sex marriage is wrong

My sister and brother-in-law were playing the game with my niece and nephew (7 and 11 years old) – they did not know about the same sex thing – anyway to make a long story short my nephew is a wonderful little boy, plays hockey and is an honor student. I have seen his friends and they are all different ethnicities and all have a great time playing – they play naturally not some school induced forced multiculturalism.

During the game he landed on marry a man or they were saying he had to marry a man and he started crying!! Through tear filled eyes he said he wanted to marry a girl cause he wanted kids. Through the mouths of babes, wisdom

Couldn't this happen in the real game as well?

I haven’t played in years, but what would stop you from putting two blue pegs in your little car?

Does the game truly “push” (ie enourage) same-sex marriage? Or does it just allow the possibility, like the 1960s board game?

If someone was against same-sex marriage, it would be easy enough to deal with a game that seems to allow it. We own PCs and my 7-year old is quite familiar with the “computer glitch”. :)

Sounds like a mountain made out of a molehill to me.

The primary process is FLAWED. Two states should not decide our candidate.

If you haven't noticed this is decades of forced

acceptance of immoral behavior.

Apologists like you have said for decades “Oh its just this ONE little thing, thats no big thing nothing to worry about, American culture”

Then “all of a sudden” state supreme courts are changing constitutions and refusing to recognize election (re: proposition votes) results.

Maybe if we would have stood up when these “mountains out of molehills” started decades ago we would still live under the rule of law and not the “rule of man”

You misunderstand.

Who in 1960 would have thought to restrict you from picking a same-sex spouse?

I’m simply saying that the game is from another time, and the online version likely reflects that. If that’s all it is, you deal with it by educating your kids.

If the game truly forces the issue, that’s a horse of a different color.
