Dr. Larry Nassar was sentenced Wednesday to almost two centuries in prison for his decades of sexual abuse towards young girls as the USA Gymnastics team doctor. During his sentencing hearing Judge Rosemarie Aquilina read aloud a statement from the former doctor and it was stunning.
The reaction of the courtroom can only be described as shocked when hearing Aquilina Nassar’s nauseating comments. Nassar actually defended himself saying:
Those patients who are now speaking out are the same ones that praised [me] and came back over and over…The media convinced them that everything I did is wrong and bad.
But the surreal level of denials continued.
Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.
Watch the video and hear the courtroom react to Nassar’s statements.
We are all that courtroom.
