'The View' Host: Dems Shouldn't Care About Abortion, Because Jesus Didn't (VIDEO)

Those ladies at “The View” are at it again.

I usually steer clear of the long-running, headache-inducing gab fest, unless a hot button topic like abortion comes up. That automatically means the hosts (or perhaps a young, faux conservative guest) will say something inane.

On Tuesday, the women discussed the topic of Democrats and abortion. As my colleague Andrea Ruth wrote on Monday, the desperate Democratic party is suddenly willing to allow pro-life candidates within their fold. It’s a miracle!

The Democratic Party Chairman, Rep. Ben Luján (D – N. Mex.), told The Hill that there will be no abortion rights litmus test to run on the Democrat ticket in 2018. Opening the Democratic wing up to gaining pro-life voters in currently Republican-held districts.

To be sure, the Democrats deciding to allow pro-life candidates to run on their ticket isn’t an indication that they are coming around to the fact that an unborn human being is a person. Nope. It’s simply a carefully considered plan to win seats and gain back their power.

No worries, though, according to Sunny Hostin, one of the chicks around the ABC talk show table. Sunny is the pro-life Democrat on the panel, and urged her fellow Democrats to look past the abortion issue, because it just wasn’t a big deal to Jesus.

Newsbusters reports:

HOSTIN: I definitely face backlash but I’ve got to tell you it’s time for Democrats to realize — there’s no moral party. The Republicans should not have the corner on setting the moral objective for the countryIt’s time for Democrats to embrace— because if you really are looking at Jesus’ words, the most important things to him were justice and mercy, so real biblical sort of perspectives are saving the earth–

WHOOPI: [talking over Hostin] What if you’re not a Christian?

HOSTIN:–welcoming strangers, taking care of the poor.

Whoopi then spoke up and said something just as foolish. So really, business as usual for Ms. Goldberg.

WHOOPI: Here’s the thing. If you believe that abortion is morally wrong, then you never have to have one. The law doesn’t say you have to have an abortion. The law says if you feel you need to, we are not going to stand in your way. And that is how the law should read. [cheers and applause]

Sorry, ladies. That’s not the way morality works. I know you’re all into girl power and being ‘nasty women’, but you absolutely lack a moral compass.

It is especially gross to me when other females promote and protect abortion, as if it’s a rite of passage for women in general. There is nothing as inherently anti-woman as choosing to kill unborn life inside the womb. To do so is not only murder, but it is corrupting the very precious privilege that goes along with being a female – the ability to carry, nourish, and sustain new human life.

Speaking up about the worth of all life is a necessity, no matter if it directly affects you, unlike what Whoopi believes. A thing is right or it isn’t. That truth does not hang upon whether it is myself or another person doing the wrong.

This won’t be the last time the pro-abort harpies gloss over abortion as either a good thing, or something Jesus himself would have shrugged his sinless shoulders at. Christian belief in the Trinity holds that there are three persons in one: the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You can’t look at Jesus Christ and not also see the Creator.

It may feel good for some to rationalize away life’s worth, but the Author of Life would not endorse such speech.
