As for the theory of Climate Change, who knows whether antropological activities are really the major cause of the Climate Change? I won’t confirm or deny it. Why? Scientists are not unanimous yet on the subject. I won’t take side at the moment. More studies are still necessary. And nerdy scientists must take a unanimous conclusion on this (e.g., Newtonian law of motion in non-relativistic conditions). So I will keep my mind open on the issue. And I hate mixing politics in Science – be it conservative or democratic.

IN SHORT…. THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAILS.

But you never answered before. So do you think she has contradicted her statement on the cap-and trade plan during the VP debate?

She had to go what was on John McCain’s agenda. It was clear that McCain used Palin as a piece of political eye-candy so the conservatives will actually have enough courage to drag themselves out of bed on election day and vote for him .

Believe me that would have been awesome if she sat there and said “I don’t believe in that global warming crap and neither should you”

If you read between the lines of that transcript that you gave us I think it’s pretty clear she was uncorfortable with idea of supporting cap & trade but the last thing you want to do is bite the political hand that feeds you.

However with how the campaign staffers treated her after that debate all the way until now I’m pretty sure if she could do it all over again she’d give them a real clear reason to suspect she’s gone “rogue”.

I think she was probably inadequately prepared for the debates and forgot to emphasize that it was McCain’s position and not her own. Or maybe she didn’t appreciate the nuances of the issue at the time and has since come to a better understanding.
