This is humor, yes? Surely there can’t be a grain of truth? My elderly, impoverished Aunt is in danger of deportation. She lives in Southie in public housing. From Pat Dollard:
Obama Launches Campaign Against White Illegal Immigrants
The majority of “undocumented Irish” young people living illegally in America come from Fermanagh and Tyrone, the Assembly had been told.
New President Barack Obama intends to tackle the problem, according to Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness.
Reporting on his recent week-long trip to the US, Mr McGuinness said the issue came up constantly.
There is an estimated 2,500 to 3,000 illegal Irish in the US, with the majority coming from Fermanagh and Tyrone.
Mr McGuinness said: “The issue of the undocumented Irish came up consistently and persistently at many of the engagements in which we were involved.
“There is no doubt that it is a matter with which the new Administration will grapple.

At first I thought this had to be another April Fool's joke.
Steph C (Diary) Thursday, April 2nd at 11:32AM EST (link)But it’s serious, right?
I wonder if that includes all other whites, like Canadians? I have a friend who has been fighting for legality for several years and many thousands of dollars only to get nowhere. He’s married to an American and they have two children and even that is not helping his case.
In our more affluent times we even helped pay some of those fees for him and his wife, only to hit dead ends.

Serious as a heart attack?

Let's not talk about heart attacks.
Steph C (Diary) Thursday, April 2nd at 12:45PM EST (link)I almost died once from congestive heart failure so heart attacks are really a scary subject to me.
But I get the point.
