Why are voters angry? Why would citizens rise up to practice their God given right to free speech and to petition our government? One big reason is the snide, condescending way people in power in the Democratic Party treat us! They don’t take our anger seriously! There must be something wrong with US!!! NO!!! It is the government, being held hostage by a bunch of elitist, snobbish fools, that is wrong!!!

The more the Democratic leaders and their special interest cronies chastise us for our anger, the angrier we will get!!!!

There is a large anti-war contingent here and they’re a large part of his base.

He was reamed after he reversed on the promise to no longer fund the wars. He no longer has the base, and this move should really push the middle away from him. He even has the risk of being primaried.

His district is rapidly gaining wealthy folks who are abandoning Portland, OR due to a recent extra tax for the rich. Oregon has a high income tax and Washington has none. This will only push the district farther towards the R’s.

I’d say this is one guy that could possibly be sent packing with the right combination of incumbent arrogance (keep it coming Brian!), national mood, and solid GOP challenger.

Speaking of protest signs—-I think it would be great to carry a sign with Hillary Clinton’s photo on it and her eloquent, dignified words:

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration, somehow you are not patriotic, and we should stand up and say, “We are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.””

Herr Baird is a coward and sadly my Congressman. I believe Herr Baird is more of a Washington DC Congressman than a Washington state Congressman and hopefully we’ll get a chance to fire Herr Baird next year..

If I were one of Congressman Brian Baird’s constituents, I’d would send him a postcard. I am a great believer in post card correspondence. Ordinary mail in envelopes has to go through an extensive security check, but a simple post card will transit the House of Representatives mail system much more quickly.

A nice thing about a post card is that the limited writing space makes you state your thoughts simply and succinctly. This is probably the best way to communicate with Rep.Baird since he is afraid of the people in his district. I’m not in his district, but I think I’ll give him my opinion anyway.

Is it me, or is this a real obvious attempt by Democrat leadership to prevent reps who are on the fence from hearing from their constituents?

All of the protests I have been to have been respectful and non-violent, even with “community agitators” attempting to start a fight.

And that protesters are paid by the insurance industry? If they had the money, they really should get better signs with a coordinated message. Or at least use the money they are paid to get a babysitter, there are a lot of kids at these things.

I am hopeful that the American people will see where the lies are coming from and how blatant they are.
