One thing is clear though, Fox News is now clearly positioning itself as a conservative news source rather than a “fair and balanced” new source.

As a news source Fox News attempts (pretty well most times) to be ‘fair and balanced’ (except where it comes to reporting on Islamic Jihad.)

Glenn Beck and Hannity, however, are not considered ‘news‘ programs – they are commentary. Glenn makes it very clear that he presents commentary and NOT news.

He used to come across as fairly principled for a liberal, but he flushed that down the toilet bigtime in the huge media suckup to Obama. Glenn Beck is also moving to FNC starting next Monday. He is some part libertarian and some part conservative, but his appeal to the masses is his common sense approach to issues. I suspect he'll do well. Personally I wouldn't at all mind seeing O'Reilly move on. Even when I agree with him, he's so obnoxious and self-righteous that I want to puke.
