what’s your take on Hispanics?

We need to bring them our pro-family message, we need to talk about the importance of faith in our party and traditional values.

The problem here is that people who continuously harp on reaching out to Latinos because they are with us as cultural conservatives are the very slimeballs who are working overtime to minimize colturally conservative influences in the party!

But when you go into crap like the following…it looks to me like you’re accusing us of xenophobia:

We need to tone down the immigration rhetoric, not change our policy. When there are morons who talk about Hispanics wanting to “come in here and soak up our social services,”

That’s the biggest problem with illegal immigration…and immigration as a whole…We have people collecting social security and Medicaid who have never paid into the system, taking up hospital beds and filling up emergency and not paying for the services they receive that drives up the cost to us all…legal immigrants included…Are you saying we should ignore the truth of this because the Media will demagogue this issue?

Then you chime in with this gem:

we need to let legal Hispanics know that illegal immigration puts their future in jeopardy. We need to talk to them about the importance of enforcing the laws on the books. We also need to sit down with hispanic people and talk to them about their thoughts and concerns

As if we’re not doing just that already! I know the perception is that we’re not because the so called objective press, John McCain, LaRaza. LULAC etc have perpetuated this lie to benifit themselves…but we are doing exactly what you say here yet you want to act as iff we’re not…as if we don’t think hispanics aren’t worthy of our consideration…you may not say we’re xenophobic per se but you imply it in almost every paragraph!

The converse of this is that white people won’t relate to some young black guy with nappy hair, and this would be seen as a racist comment, as it should be. With that in mind I think you should watch what you say in this regard.

It’s time we give voice to minorities in our party and stand behind them, the media is extremely hostile to black, hispanic and other minority Republicans.

If your idea of “reaching out” to Hispanics is to make a small list of trivial points about there cultural impact on America, instead of talking to them about how conservative values are the same values that they already employ in their private lives, well I hope you don’t get elevated either.

By the way your last sentence seems to infer that I believe we can make it with just whites, I never said this of course. So why are you trying to label me as a xenophobe? That doesn’t seem very inclusive to me, infact it borders on you trying to call me a racist. I suggest you reconsider that last sentence and set yourself straight, pronto!!
