Also the voters of PA who weren't aware he was a Dem the whole time. As far as betraying the GOP or conservatives? Who cares. We win by subtraction anyway. As far as Benedict goes, it was the other way around. He felt (and legitimatly so) betrayed by both the Congress and Washington personally. Wrong course of action, but he was trully in a lose/lose situation.
