in fact the fix was in on Palin from the get go….all of the rumors and innuendos about her during the campaign were started by her McCain appointed handler, who was a personal friend of Katie Cuoric…as well that specific interview was cut and slice to purposefully distort her image as a serious conservative.

No disrespect intended, but I looked over wintergreen a bit and I see sincerity, but a definite anti Palin bias back in August, which is also fine. To each his own. You have your reasons and others have their reasons to support her.

The reason I asked the question of your “I disagree” post is because I wasn’t quite sure what “other things” you had in mind. Thanks for clarifying that, and with the exception of 4), I see where you are coming from. Not sure if that (4) is a real answer or a sarcasm, but then I know how intelligent the lady is.
No condemnation, just hard to tell your intent.

You know exactly what you mean in each post, If you care to put just a little extra detail in the replies,(like you did this one), others will be able to pick up your meaning quicker with less chance of misunderstanding. I saw where wintergreen had some controversies that really were more misunderstandings.

You forget that half the people that utter comments like your hypotheticals are looking for a reason to dislike her; if it’s not one trivial thing it’s another, or they’ll just start making up crap and criticize her for that (snopes has a whole page of this stuff).

So relax and give her a chance.

1. “You’re a racist” – Sarah Palin married a mixed race man – how unracist/nonracist /race-is-totally-irrelevant does she have to get?

2. “Big oi is rigging prices” Sarah Palin has taken a hard line in dealing with big oill. If you want to put a leash on Big Oil, the best way to do it is to unleash the pitbull who wears lipstick.

3. “You guys are just buddy buddy with Big Business.” Big oil is big business in Alaska – Sarah Palin’s record shows she’s a LONG way from being buddy-buddy with them. Sarah Palin’s life shows she’s got experience and understanding of small business which is a major creator of innovation and jobs.

4. Well lets see how she does on other interviews and speechs between now and 2012 – do you really think one poor interview should disqualify a person from being president? And by 2012, the Couric interview will be ancient history – of course, if we want to talk about ancient history in 2012 , we could talk about an interview … and we could also talk about a 20-year pattern of attending church where the pastor curses America.
