He’s a FiCon and the face of the future… pay attention to an up-an-comer.
There’s a lot can happen in four years, indeed, but there are a few good people left in the GOP. In the coming storm may conservatism find deep roots, and may the weak be spread like chaff.

We are the solution. Inevitably.

Unfortunately (for us) the narrative is controlled by MSNBC and the useful idiots who did successfully paint her as a characateur.
Sorry, she’s done.

If you truly believe in America to see the difference between wrong and “right”, we need to make more inroads on the MSM, at least. And more than that, we need to make MAJOR assaults on the fringe comedic.
When Saturday Night Live (rich people promoting socialism… go figure?) and the Comedy Central shows define our position, we have lost.
We are who they said we are (since we let them).

And I’m not respectful, because we have been standing prone for the a55 kicking. The republican party is dead, I’m a Conservative.

and instead we end up with “Yosemite Sam”… Coulter is right, but what in the hell happened to the conservatives? Fred was the right man for the “right” people, what happened to the brilliant banner?
A flag of pastels?
McCain probably did what he thought was right w/r/t bailout #1, but when I was a kid, rebublicans were CONSERVATIVES. That means So-con as well as Fi-con. Paint with pastels and you achieve a nebulous lack of goal.

In the end, B. Obama may be a gift… You really wish to take the blame for W’s liberal spending as well as the “do nothing (except evil)” congress?

Sarah Palin has more than enough time to re-introduce herself to the American people. She can do monthly addresses on the issues of the day and upload it to YouTube. She can go for interviews with the harshest of her critics, prepared and loaded for bear, while she is still a desirable “get.”

Quite frankly, she need not run for President to make a difference. But she has the potential to play a major role in leading the Party back from the wilderness. So if she needs to get together with Fred, Newt, Luntz, etc. and/or any other person (not McCain), to get it done, I’m in support of it.

Without Palin, we’re screwed! I doubt Obama’s policies are going to work and Romney and Huckabee don’t have what it takes to beat Obama in ’12. With the right people behind her, Palin’s got what it takes!

I’m all for it, Josh. Bring on Fred Thompson, make him your defacto policy adviser, hell Palin/Thompson ’12! Bring back real conservatism!

I doubt that it will take 8 to 12 years for her to obtain the information she needs to improve her chances for the White House. The precedent has been set by Obama that the White House is attainable with on the job training. I do believe she will be much better prepared for 2012. Remember she had no idea that she was going to be the 2008 VP nomminee. Now her potential is out there. I suspect she is already obtaining and working with individuals that will be helping her. I think she shouold evaluate the realistic opportunities in 2012. Depends on Obama and mood of the country. VP nomminee might not be a bad idea for 2012, again depending on climate at that time.

Sarah should be top among a handful of Republican governors (the others being along the Gulf coast, which can remain in good shape, even grow in spite of Obamanomics), which can go to the country and say, “We can take our successes and reverse what Obama did.”

There’s every need for Sarah Palin to be what makes her so fantastic, her own woman. She doesn’t need to be Reagan, she could in fact, be better if she doesn’t tie herself to those woe-be-gone expectations of the Second Incarnation of Reagan. “There can be only one” Reagan.

Ms Palin should take up an entirely differently sword modeling herself after the old Doritos commercial: “Crunch all you want, we’ll make more!” People may not need much persuading after Obama starts to lose his novelty, and his policies show their true effect on the nation.

Timing is the only debatable point here. Depending on all sorts of different factors, Obama could be untouchable in four years, or he could be struggling in his own party. Who can tell at this point? Those people want to hear from Sarah sooner than later are smart enough to know what’s coming down the pike with Obama, and they want the quickest possible end to it. If she won the Republican Primary in 2011, I’d vote for her again in a heartbeat!

And by the way, I think people who voted for Obama this time are owed a public horsewhipping. With luck the self-realization of what they did will lead to a heaping helping of self-flaggellation early enough for 2010.

I also couldn’t agree more that Fred Thompson is the go to man for her. He seems to do some of his best work behind the scenes such as the Roberts assignment.

And, whis is she supposed to do after her second term of Governor is up, sit and play twiddle winks for 2 years. No, she needs to go from one successful seat to the next, and hopefully in 2012 she will be willing and prepared for the Presidency.

I’ve mentioned this to several people that Sarah should not run in 2012. Get more experience as governor and buckle down on the details which she was not given the ability to do so this year.

I think coddling with Fred Thompson would also be very beneficial. Then again, Fred was my man in 2008.

Lastly, Coulter is correct on all points with Palin.

When people start quoting the Highlander that is the sign to immediately turn them off. Saying to hire Fred Thompson finished it.

First of all Fred would never do that. Second you never hire anyone to be the voice whispering in your ear who wants to be in front of the camera as much as you do.
