Back to seriousness. The window Fitz has opened has the hallmark of a revealing event into Obama’s character.

I wanted to find support for the KQHA quote (which BTW, the content is blocked on the initial report link) but what I turned up is this from the Sun-Times. I’m including it here because apparently it is too troublesome to follow the link…

“When it comes to filling the remaining two years of Obama’s term, Blagojevich said he intends to turn over the vetting process for Obama’s successor to several high-level staffers in his office whom he wouldn’t name. The governor also said he intends to appoint someone no later than Jan. 1 and possibly before Christmas.
“I’ve never had more friends than I do today. And when I make the final decision, I won’t have nearly as many as I have now,” he said.
Saying he had no favorite candidate yet, Blagojevich said he has not spoken to Obama about the matter but would give “a great deal of weight” to the recommendations the president-elect might make.
The governor said some suitable Obama replacements included Senate President Emil Jones (D-Chicago), Veteran Affairs secretary Tammy Duckworth, U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.), U.S. Rep. Danny Davis (D-Ill.) and U.S. Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.) but cautioned against “reading anything into” his naming of those people.

This is contemporaneous reporting just like the KQHA stuff is. One of these news outlets got it wrong and I am disappointed but I think it was KQHA. There is no reason Blago would be contradicting on Nov.6 something we are reading into his web stie press release of Nov. 5.

Obama was a Blago supporter and his transparent-politics/reformer image is hyporcrisy given his success in Chicago politics. But this KQHA story doesn’t make our case.

At another point, the Blagojevich used the same epithet with regard to Obama himself.

It appears that the governor sought various and sundry benefits for himself, his wife and his campaign in return for Obama’s seat. Blagojevich is quoted as saying that a Senate seat “is a f**king valuable thing, you just don’t give it away for nothing.”

on this string. Read the transcripts, it is a VERY interesting inside look into the Chicago, Illinois politics that birthed our very own Obamasan. There are some very familiar names in those transcripts, “Tony” Rezko, Ali Ata, and they all seem to be doing some talking. Who knows what the future will bring but it is obvious
that a majority of our country voted for an empty suit who never put much thought into who he is associating with, or maybe he did and determined they were “His” kind of people. The Indicted Kind!

I was ready and willing to give Obama the benefit of the doubt, Though I didn’t vote for him, he is now the president, and I wanted to believe he really was concerned about the best for the nation, not his own corrupt politics, now this. Man, this presidency looks like it will be Bill Clinton’s on steroids.

Sorry if this is rambling, but I feel like I’ve been watching a train wreck, I new it was going to happen, but I hoped and prayed that it wouldn’t happen but it did happen and when it did it was way worse than I ever thought it could be.

It is so hard to find the real Obama in all this stage management.

I’m still waiting to discover who he actually is. I’m waiting because while the left always claimed Reagan and Bush were sock-puppets the facts were never on the left’s side. Obama may actually be a sock-puppet, time will tell.
