future generations are counting on the debt.

Cannot wait for the 'killer' wind turbines in all of our backyards as we 'go green':

Under Obama the gov’t is just going to keep getting bigger & there isn't much us republicans can do about it. Additionally, it is going to be tempting for many republicans to give up the cause for limited government. I mean, when Democrats are giving so many free benefits to the masses us limited government folks are going to look pretty bad.

And, we are already seeing some, such as William Kristol encouraging republicans not to fight against big government just because its big (see: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/08/opinion/08kristol.html ).

But, we must remember that at the end of the day the majority of the big government solutions are going to fail and the party who supports limited government will prevail. Lets make sure we stick to the right side even if its tempting to go another direction.

My biggest fear right now is that the Republican party is going to lose its focus and move away from the conservative ideals that can unite the party.

For example, we must get Mike Duncan out of the RNC Chairman Spot and elect someone who is a true fiscal conservative. We need someone to rejuvenate our party in our hour of need. There are several names on the list of people who are running.

Right now I think the best person is Ken Blackwell. He's a true fiscal conservative who adamantly believes in limited government and low taxes. Of course he's also a strong supporter of traditional values & a strong military. And, best of all he knows how to win elections and raise money: He has an awesome track record (won 13 of 17 races & has been fighting in the moderate state of OH).

If we elect a moderate who supports big government we are sunk. Ken Blackwell is the only smart choice for fiscal conservatives.
