A while back, I wrote Journalism’s obituary.
Now one of my favorite authors, Victor Davis Hanson, has penned this excellent piece on its demise. Unlike my meager effort, VDH’s essay is eloquent and comprehensive.
Highly recommended.

Battle Of The Bulge? Tet?
Davo (Diary) Sunday, November 2nd at 1:12AM EST (link)This is certainly the last desperate effort of the MSM to maintain their empty illusion of power. And they may very well succeed in getting the worst president in the history of the United States elected to office by lies, deceit and treachery. The cost to the country and the world will be staggering. The list includes nuclear Iran, world recession (at least), utter devastation in Iraq(remember S.E. Asia where 3 million were slaughtered when the U.S. turned it’s back), Israel, China, Russia, the list is endless. The possibility of absolute chaos looms large with a president who refuses to take responsibility for anything. And that is the single accomplishment of this man. He has refused to own up to anything. He is a liar and a fool of the first magnitude. Woe be it to us if he is elected.
