It can be a weakness for her, e.g., her Trooper problems, but it is also a great strength, especially in a political environment where courage is so often utterly lacking.

And why should Sarah Palin, or any other patriotic American, shy away from pointing out the truth about Bill Ayers and his relationship to Barack Obama?

I am very pleased and relieved that she is saying this. The American people need to know the truth about Bill Ayers and Barack Obama. When the majority know the truth, the majority will vote for McCain.

Fannie and Freddie and the problems they’ve caused are still the top news items today and Palin should be lighting Obama up on it.

Unless she’s leaving that line of attack for McCain to unveil on Tuesday. Should he fail to do so, I will forced to conclude that he’s just not that interested in winning.

If America can handle the truth, this speech should see a McCain-Palin landslide win.

Sarah: You know, Hillary Clinton and I don’t agree on every issue, but we do share a lot in common. In fact, I’ve even got something in common with President Clinton, and Governor Richardson, Governor Wilder, Governor Kaine, and others. There are some issues we disagree on, but we’re all Americans and we’re all politicians. And while we all got into politics by slightly different routes we’ve got one other similarity – NONE of us launched our political careers in the home of a terrorist. That is something we don’t have in common with Barack Obama because he DID launch his political career in the house of William Ayers, the terrorist. So, I’m not in the same league with Barack Obama and I’m glad I’m not.

I dunno. It’s getting harder to see why Palin isn’t running at the top of the ticket. Would that be such a bad thing, given how America is responding?

She’s got the touch. When it comes down to it, she can rightfully claim more executive experience, more popular support, she’s closer to the people as a small business owner with a modest house and assets, she’s never wavered from her true commitment to Christian values, she’s given BACK tax money to her citizens, stood up to oil and corruption, and she’s nowhere near retirement.

This campaign has got to be turned around, and if it takes doing the obvious, and putting her on top…talk about a “game changer”.

I say, Palin – McCain for Pres and VP.

The truth about Obama’s associations is quite negative. That, as pointed out in an earlier thread, does not make it any less true. McCain can point out these nefarious associations while at the same time differentiating himeself on policy & issue.

and ties Obama in to the facts – showing his leftist/communist views and how that would be hurtful to the economy Obama will flush, the MSM will faint and I will be writing another check to the campaign.

The Ayers thing would have been good fodder for the earier analysis of Obama’s character. At this point, most people who have been paying attention already know about it to some degree. Emphasizing it now feels like going extra negative because McCain is losing.

It’s a legit discussion, but it feels like old news, easily deflected.
