Juror’s oath:
“You, and each of you, swear that in all causes committed to you, you will
give a true verdict therein according to the law and the evidence given you. So
help you God.”
Jurors are sworn and required by law to abide by this oath when deciding the fate of a sinngle person. Does it bother anyone, besides me, that this same oath is not required by law to be sworn to, or even considered, by those we have chosen to decide the fate of 310 million fellow Americans? Food for thought, people.

Let us be sure that those who come after will say of us in our time, that in our time we did everything that could be done. We finished the race; we kept them free; we kept the faith.
