An explosion rocked the Port Authority bus terminal in New York City Monday morning, causing several injuries.
Law enforcement in New York is currently investigating the scene.

Several people were injured Monday morning when a device exploded at the Port Authority bus terminal on 42nd Street, according to law enforcement sources.
One person is in custody after his device partially detonated inside a tunnel, sources told The Post.
Police and firefighters have responded to the scene, where the bomb squad also has been deployed.
The New York Post is also reporting that one person is in custody at this time.

There is currently very little information beyond this, as we don’t know who the man in custody is or the motivation behind the attack.
UPDATE: Authorities are calling the suspect a “suicide bomber” after he was apprehended with wires attached to him and a pipe bomb that went off prematurely inside the Port Authority terminal. From the New York Post article:
A suicide bomber set off a device at the Port Authority bus terminal Monday morning, law enforcement sources said.
The suspected bomber – who had wires attached to him – was armed with a pipe bomb and a battery pack, sources said.
He was taken into custody after the device partially detonated inside the passageway to the N, Q and R trains, according to sources.
