MoveOn.org Stages Hostile Protest at Paul Ryan Event

On May 16, 2011, RebelPundit attended a MoveOn.org protest staged in Chicago outside a Paul Ryan luncheon. The protesters were unfriendly and hostile, as well as confused about their message. They also questioned MoveOn members and organizers about their opinion regarding racially offensive comments made by former progressive radio talk show host and radically liberal blogger Greg Morelli. MRC Video: What We Saw at the MoveOn.org D.C. Union Protest

On Saturday Feb. 26, a protest rally was thrown together by MoveOn.org and the SEIU. It just so happened that Code Pink’s Medea Benjamin and Barack Obama’s former green jobs czar and self-admitted communist Van Jones stopped by to show their support for the 14 Wisconsin State Senators who fled as well as the unions and teachers taking fake sick notes from doctors to stay out and protest.

At one point, Van Jones claims that the Tea Party turned off the television after the word ‘liberty’ and missed the ‘and justice for all’ part. These people can never get a sentence out without mentioning the Tea Party. Perhaps maybe, just maybe, they’re actually frightened of the Tea Party and the power they posses. Not only that, Tea Party rallies are actually attended by people. Jealousy may also play a factor.

NYU Fellow Issues Appalling Statements On Sexual Assault Of CBS Correspondent In Egypt

This afternoon, atrocious news surfaced that CBS correspondent Lara Logan had been subjected to “brutal and sustained sexual assault” while covering the celebrations in Egypt.

According to a full statement released by CBS:

On Friday February 11, the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, CBS Correspondent Lara Logan was covering the jubilation in Tahrir Square for a 60 MINUTES story when she and her team and their security were surrounded by a dangerous element amidst the celebration. It was a mob of more than 200 people whipped into a frenzy.

In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers. She reconnected with the CBS team, returned to her hotel and returned to the United States on the first flight the next morning. She is currently in the hospital recovering.

There will be no further comment from CBS News and Correspondent Logan and her family respectfully request privacy at this time.

When the news initially broke, I was on Twitter as people began talking about it. Almost everyone was shocked, appalled, and deeply sympathetic for Logan, except for one man.

That man was Nir Rosen. Rosen is a fellow at the NYU Center for Law and Security. When he realized what he said was outrageous and others began informing him of that, he deleted his worst comments. However, some were captured using a “screen grab.”

Maher Calls “Teabaggers” Racists; Uses N-Word As Proof

Bill Maher appeared on Larry King Live and claimed Tea Party participants, or ‘teabaggers’ according to Maher, are racists. He then tried to drive his point home by stating, “calling him an anti-colonialism loud tribesman-’loud tribesman’-, that’s the new Kenyan, Larry.  And Kenyan, of course, was code for n*****.”

Imam Rauf’s Security Guard: “No Point In Relocating” Ground Zero Mosque; “Funding Will Come From Muslims Around The World”

Thursday outside of 51 Park Place in New York City–the location of the proposed Ground Zero Mosque–I interviewed Kamal Wahad who is a personal friend and follower of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and security guard of the vacant building.

During the interview Wahad said there is no point in relocating the mosque, and that the funding “will come from Muslims around the world.”

Letterman Curses Out Andrew Breitbart On National TV; Drudge And Fox News Attacked

David Letterman, speaking to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow on his show, asked about the Shirley Sherrod incident and took it upon himself to slam Andrew Breitbart. At one point during the interview he asked her “how much time, energy was wasted on this a*shole ****ing around?”

Maddow described Breitbart as a “spinoff from Matt Drudge, from the Drudge Report.” Breitbart, indeed, used to serve as an editor of the Drudge Report, but her intentions in mentioning the Drudge Report probably amount to the effectiveness of the site to sway public debate– not to mention millions of viewers visiting per day. Two targets for the price of one. After all, anyone from MSNBC at this point has to be pretty bitter due to their horrific ratings.

Of course, to no ones surprise, she continued to spew the lefts talking points on the matter, reaffirming to Dave that Fox News ran the story as “factual”– when, in fact, they didn’t run the story until after 9 p.m that night, as Fox News anchor Bret Baier confronted Howard Dean on the same lies the mainstream media picked up and ran with. Any opportunity they get to attack Fox News and Conservatives, they utilize to the fullest.

Pelosi 2006: “Democrats Intend To Lead The Most Honest, Most Open And Most Ethical Congress In History”; Pelosi 2010: We’re Still Most Ethical Congress Ever

In much better times, back when Democrats were going to save the world from the evil Bush regime, Nancy Pelosi uttered words that changed America forever and provided hope to the masses: those words were her pledge to lead the most honest, open, ethical Congress in history.

Oh how times have changed.

Now Obama’s approval ratings are down–a new poll released today shows him as low as 41%, Congress has an 11% approval rating, private sector jobs still aren’t showing up despite flowery and optimistic talk coming from the White House, not to mention the oil spill response from both BP and the White House was absolutely horrendous. Moderate to left leaning Kathleen Parker even wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post, titled’ Obama: Our First Female President‘ in response to Obama’s style of leadership. Now that’s embarrassing.

Here she is in 2006, on a mission to be the savior of politics along with fellow Democrats as a standard to live up to:
