If we had real statesmen today, statesmen with the depth of character of Lincoln and not just shallow PC orators, they may have described our society’s relationship with the WTC site as Lincoln did of the Gettysburg battlefield, "... in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. So you see, Holder is quite familiar with pandering to and ultimately releasing unrepentant terrorists.

Further, Holder’s refusal to prosecute the New Black Panthers for voter fraud is consistent with his track record of using his political power to actively support radical causes. From the FALN clemencies to Al Qaeda/KSM and Guantanamo Bay to the Fort Hood shootings and Christmas bomber to the Black Panthers, AG holder has consistently put radical players and their causes above the lives of the American people he is sworn to protect.

Holder’s record should not surprise anyone who has paid attention to his despicable record.

As I warned last year, Eric Holder does not have the character or belief system for the job of Attorney General.

He must go before his game of Russian roulette will end with the death of more innocent Americans.

Are Republican lawmakers ready to fight for what is right? Do they have the will to take on the Democrats?

Unfortunately my warnings were all too prophetic but went all but unheeded by those senators so much more wise than this average Joe.

The feeling among those weak republicans who voted in Holder’s favor was, “we have to choose our battles.” A convenient cliché but hardly the confident rallying cry of a party holding the last hope of a nation and charged with upholding our great constitution.

If ever it was put up or shut up time for republicans, this is it. After the slimmest of margins upheld the second amendment just last week, we can not afford another judicial activist on the court. We cannot afford a person like Kagan who placed restrictions on military recruiters at Harvard because of her personal feeling toward the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy.

We cannot afford the likes of Kagan, who as solicitor general in the Citizens United / Hillary the Movie case, was scolded by Chief Justice Roberts with, “we don’t put our First Amendment rights in the hands of FEC bureaucrats” for her assertion that books, like movies, could potentially be deemed paid political speech and banned around election time. Its been 10 months since I’ve written and we Americans seem to have finally woken up.

At the end of 2009, incredibly, we elected a republican governor in your adopted home state of New Jersey and this week has been even better.

The people of Massachusetts staggered the Obama Nation. On Tuesday they vented everyman’s rejection of Obama and the democrats radical social agenda by electing a republican to the senate in the seat formerly held by Ted Kennedy. Socialized health care is dead.

The US Supreme Court returned a ringing endorsement of First Amendment Rights.

Yesterday dad, only 3 days short of the 35th anniversary of your murder, Hillary, the Movie, (the movie you and I were in to call out the Clintons on releasing the unrepentant FALN terrorists who proudly claimed responsibility for your murder) won its case before the Court. This decision is a landmark endorsement of First Amendment rights whereby among other things, corporations and unions can spend their own money as the see fit for political ads. Imagine that, freedom to spend your money without a government agency dictating to you! What a concept.

Once again, a few simple words from Brack Obama reveal the arrogance in the way he views and treats the American people.

In explaining how he lost touch with the people, Obama is quoted in the NY Post today,

“If there is one thing that I regret this year is that we were so busy just getting stuff done and deal with the immediate crises that were in front of us, that I think we lost some of that sense of speaking directly to the American people about what their core values are and why we have to make sure those institutions are matching up with those values.”

Putting aside the very good question of exactly what stuff was he getting done, the highlighted language speaks volumes, “speaking directly to the American people about what their core values are.”

Notice he does not say, “speaking with” or “listening to” the American people about our core values. Instead he is saying he should have been better at telling the American people what their core values should be and have them match up with his socialist agenda.

There is no contrition here nor any attempt to serve the people. Just the same old, “we know better than you” pomposity.

To him the problem is that he was too distracted to tell us what to think. Its this kind of dictatorial arrogance that is dooming this president and his party.

Congratulations to the people of Massachusetts and Scott Brown for a great victory over the arrogant, tone deaf liberals.

The people have spoken and severely damaged this already weakened presidency. On the domestic front we should celebrate this as a triumph of our republic.

But a severely wounded, ineffective presidency makes our country look weak and vulnerable to our enemies. As we know, this enemy views weakness with contempt and may provide the motivation to hit while they perceive us as down.

As Americans we cannot bask in this victory, but must use our re found “power of the people” in pushing our representatives, Obama and Eric Holder’s Justice Department to reestablish the Bush security measures (including proven interrogation techniques and keeping Gitmo open) and regain the offensive on the War on Terror.

If not, this victory may be as hollow as the hole where the WTC once stood.

“She’s got your back: her opponent’s got Wall Street’s back.”

With those words the President of the United States attempts to disparage the United State’s financial services sector, one of the last great industries of this great country of ours. In his twisted thinking, tearing down some of our greatest institutions will elevate a sinking senatorial candidate in Massachusetts and raise the Titanic that is his presidency.

This one simple line is so twisted and yet so revealing of the way he thinks.

Maybe he does not understand that he not some backwater state congressman anymore or some agitant community organizer who gains power by tearing down our country. As much as it pains to say it, Barack Obama is the President of the United States which includes not only all that is bad about our country (which he likes to talk about) but all that is great. Our financial services industry is second to none in the world and should be set by our President as an example of American genius and ingenuity. Instead he portrays it as an evil.

It is astounding that an American President would demonize an institution that has helped bring unimaginable wealth and prosperity to our great country. Indeed, who does Mr. Obama think works on “Wall Street?” Americans Mr. President. You are destroying the hard working, successful Americans on Wall Street in the belief that it will gain votes for your agenda. That is unimaginable for a US President.

Like it our not, you Mr. Obama are the President of the United States. This is what you wanted. It’s about time you acted like it.

But then again, judging from what way well happen in Mass this week, with Scott Brown leading Martha Coakley, thankfully, your presidency may be coming, at least politically, to an end.

As the ex NBA star Micheal Ray Richardson so eloquently put it about the Knicks, “Ship be sinking. How low can it go? The sky’s the limit.”
