For those of you who have seen the 2009 Summer Blockbuster Movie: Obsessed (basically, re-scripted 'Fatal Attraction') let's examine a line and scene from the Movie....

The scene, the company Lunch room... Derek, Ben, and Lisa are present.... Lisa is upset about her life and bemoans 'why no-one loves her' and/or is "interested" in her.... Derek states: "If I weren't Married, I'd be interested"

One statement.... but it can be and is important TO UNDERSTAND THE CONTEXT!!!!

Ben understands fully/correctly that Derek is JUST BEING KIND in an attempt to cheer up Lisa.... She, however, twists its meaning....

Now... There is no need to bother to go into the film or the scene more, so let's extrapolate that to the real world. If the Conversation were reviewed by someone (oh, let's say the conversation was recorded and then transcribed and is later reviewed in transcript form in a Court of Law....

Is what is said immediately before matter?
Is what is said immediately after by all the parties matter?
Does the TONE matter (obviously can't be told from a transcript)?

The answer: OF COURSE IT MATTERS!!!!

A single statement taken from an entire dialogue/conversation can be twisted.... THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME BY THE MSM.....

Now, if you'd read the Article (or not) and not taken the actual MSM "Spin the Story" challenge I really, really, really, encourage you to do so now and really see how the MSM keeps distorting the interviews to push their LIBERAL SLANT upon any/every Story!!
