I assure you, I am not. But it’s difficult to sound young and hip when you are old and as my 13 year old daughter says. B-O-R-I-N-G!! lol
Throughout the years I have seen, heard, tasted and felt every imaginable thing. If you folks don’t think that I have something of value to contribute to your blog, I won’t say that I will understand but I will politely say farewell.

Habituation.
Steph C (Diary) Monday, August 31st at 9:11AM EST (link)It’s a psychological term meaning a subject is exposed to stimuli to a point where the subject no longer reacts.
The government, media, and entertainment have been using it for years to make a quiescent but they forget about the flip side. We are also habituated to the likes of you and you’ll likely be gone in an hour or two.
Thank you for playing.

Quite a remarkable life story you've written up, Francisco
civil truth (Diary) Monday, August 31st at 1:32PM EST (link)It’s by far much more impressive and enlightening than the petty repartee you’ve contributed in this diary and your comments on the Kennedy thread. (And a much better username too.)
Thanks for reminding me of Kit Lange who has done some awesome work for our Republic. She doesn’t seem to have posted at Euphoric Reality since the end of 2008; It would be interesting to hear her update of these predictions.
However, you really did get off to a bad start here at RedState (speaking as one who has been observing for several years) by majoring in the minors. The unnecessarily combative/victim tone of this diary – which does not conform to diary guidelines – is another false step. But all is not lost; as long as your don’t cross the line and get banned, there’s always hope.
Let me remind you that this site is for promoting conservative and Republican interests. We’ve got many conservative blog sites ont he internet with different approaches. Many are more geared towards personal expression, but that is not RedState’s focus.
Rather, RedState is utimatley about increasing electoral power for conservatives, which means that we focus on strengthening the intellectual foundations of conservative thought to help articulate a coherent set of conservative policies as an alternative to the current radical regime in charge – and we’re also about putting more Republican Party members into political offices (because that’s the only realistic venue we have in our current political system for effective change – which is why the site has virtually zero tolerance for “third party” movements) and moving the Republican party to a more conservative orientation that will be a vehicle for advancing conservative policies.
Thus there is more emphasis on the mind and intellect and strategy rather than personal ventings – and there is also plenty of room for expounding the theological foundations of conservative thought, which you would appear to have some insight worthy of our attention – keeping in mind that this is primarily a political not a religious site.
Remember too that RedState is a private site, and the Directors and moderators will help ensure that the RedState discussions do not undermine the site goals.
So I would suggest you spend a fair bit of time observing the RedState culture and mores. And perhaps the first thing to note is no to take things too personally – people here can be quite undiplomatic and cutting, but it’s not personal (unless the object has gotten personal first) – that is you need to have a thick skin at times and stay focused on content, because the regulars here are more interested in content that personalities.
You may have a harder row to hoe to overcome bad first impressions, but that unfortunately comes with the territory. And you don’t from your biography sound like one who gives up when the waters get a bit choppy.
So again, focus on comentary, bring to the discussion some good reasoned political content, and you’ll find a place here.
Good luck.
The greatest evil…is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried, and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed, and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voice. Hence, naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the offices of a thoroughly nasty business concern. -C.S. Lewis

mbecker908 (Diary) Monday, August 31st at 4:36PM EST (link)and a VERY appropriate screen name it is, let me be clear, and while I don’t represent the moderators or Directors, I suspect I do represent the opinions of a large segment of the RS family…
You have NOTHING to contribute here.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
Bye.
Diary is appropriate
MrsNachos (Diary) Monday, August 31st at 4:39PM EST (link)This sounds like the diary of a teenager. I think, however, that you might be missing the point. The diaries here are more like blog entries in that it’s not necessarily like this:
“Dear Diary,
Someone was mean to me today. OH, and the egg salad sandwich I ate for lunch was divine.”
oxoxxoxoox,
PF”
It really is more of an exercise in writing. I understand how the term diary might have been confusing to you. Instead of Redstate, let me recommend Myspace, which has a better blog setup for you, or LiveJournal, where angst is embraced. I think that may be more what you are looking for. You can write about political angst in those spots as well. I think you may have misunderstood what the premise of Redstate.com was about.
It happens.
