I really liked this column, and or update. Needless to say I was so happy to hear that Senator Specter was stuggling with his re-election bid. Other than Dodd, Snowe, and Collins I can't think of anyone else that I would like to see defeated more. Well I take that back. There is one person I want to see defeated more than these folks, Henry Waxman (D-Calif). I am so sick of that little , short, maniac, that believes all the American People should be made in his image, and Punished with Punitive Taxation if they refuse to live, look, and act exactly like him, is on the TOP of my list. And to think that I thought President Pelosi and Vice President Obama had "Un-American" issues. Waxman (D-Calif) is a sick Massah. I will be looking forward to reading your next article. Thanks!!!

I have lived in Massachusetts my whole life, I cannot leave for many reasons.

This state has to be among the worse states, at one point in state senate we had 10% and lost more this past November.

If I talk to anyone that reads NY Times, Boston Globe, there are some and I manage to meet them, they think Boston Herald is a tabloid. The Herald is conservative, the NYT and Globe are laying off and borrowing money but these guys think they are the the bible of the news. They view me as a little crazy woman here.

None of which bothers me I tell them I would rather have had
Bush Cheney again rather than to vote for McCain of Obama. I don't waste my time telling them they're wrong. One man I know smokes so he's getting hit my first MA state tax that went up almost overnight on July 1 to $1.05 per pack and now new one on April 1 from Obama. I am waiting for the voter remorse, hopefully anger.

I tell them I like Rush and Howie Carr, he's a local conservative that writes in Boston Herald and has show on local am station following Rush.

I don't read that many of Newsmax emails but did last night, Howie Carr is number 5 of 25 of local Rush Limbaugh's.

It's sort of like eating a white paste, except without the flavor.

I'd prefer to see mcauliffe as the dem nominee - he such an a=====e, it will grind on everyone's sensibilities. Does anyone else find his speech mannerisms truly annoying? Beating the punk like a drum would be a delightful spectacle to watch.

So if Connie Mack wants to support Crist for whatever office Crist seeks, Lil' Connie has come to the end of the conservative rope and we'll put him in the "anything to get power" column of RINOS with Crist, Pawlenty, Bloomberg, Snowe, Collins, and Specter.

It's kick ball season and some of us are picking teams!

As I recall, Virginia is an open primary state. There is no GOP primary, so all of us civic minded folks that want to vote on Primary Day can ... well ... you know ... vote in the Democrat primary.

How does Creigh Deeds stack up against McDonnell?

I've been a supporter of Hoekstra's for a while, but am seeing the Republican field as getting particularly crowded. With the primary system as it is in Michigan, I think the crossover effect of Dems in the Republican primary will result in the nominee coming from the Detroit metro area (probably Cox or Patterson).

Sadly, as much as I want to see change in the governor's office in the state, I'm wondering if Republicans have much of any chance in Michigan anymore. We have two of the most left-leaning senators in the country and a governor who is in lockstep with said senators. I'm getting really scared for the fate of my home state, as I'm seeing it become less like a swing state and more like Massachusetts.

Is it a start of meaningful re-unification within the Alaskan Republican Party or is it just a phony gesture?

I pray for the former.
