The true Senate primary race out here in CA is starting to shape up, and this will be the theme. Carlie is the true fiscal conservative, Campbell is something else, and the way the budget mess is unfolding, this sort of ad will work well. Campell was part of the making the mess and was dead wrong on the initiative to raise the gasoline tax, and other CA budget issues.

Here’s a funny thing though, if Campbell wins the primary, the charges of being for tax increases to fix the states budget will play well with Democrats, but fail big time with R’ I’s and Tea Party folks.

Notice also that Carlie is not going after DeVore, he actually has a great Assembly record on spending, but his campaign is not catching on outside the R base out here. I’m not sure what DeVore is campaigning as his major issues, but the posting here on RS seem to be more focused on his pro-life stance than anything else.

I just hooted about the wolf in sheep clothing with the Red eyes…nice touch.

bad ads like this. A sheep with evil eyes that crawls on it’s knees. A sheep person. I don’t think I’ve seen any thing worse at this point.

And I think he hits it right on the head.

CA’s gonna be interesting to watch this year.
