Fred Upton, Enough Is Enough

..it really becomes too much when Fred Upton, a fellow Michigander and fellow Republican continues to use the words, "Stupak language," and "Stupak amendment."

Upton Talks Tough, But He Has To Be As Tough As Sarah

Fred Upton got the post he wanted in the House, as Chair of the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Boehner gave him the job over massive objections from conservatives. Perhaps if Upton cries, he will convince some of them that he’s going to be a real stalwart.

JGillman of RightMichigan voices the concern that so many are thinking. Now that Upton got the post over all the objections, will he do what needs doing?

Judging from some of his responses to criticism, I’d say that’s a definite no.

He said he was going to Washington to repeal that healthcare law, then he agreed to support the insertion of Pitt’s Protect Life Act, and Smith’s No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act into the law. That’s called nibbling around the edges. The way the genius Republican leadership has been going, if the acts do end up being inserted, they will become known as the Stupak amendment for criminy’s sake. Why in the world would you say you were going to repeal it, but first change it a little to make it better, then repeal it? Does that make sense? Not only that, but Upton’s record on abortion is abysmal, so this move is actually a sop to the conservatives, because Upton is a liberal, not a conservative.

So, forgive me if I have no faith in him. The problem is, his very state is at the center of one of the largest battles for survival it has ever seen. He needs boot camp, and he needs it fast.

If everyone is feeling calmed by the Republicans taking over Michigan, let me jar you. There are far too many of those Republicans that buy into the Climate Change/Global Warming hoax, and thanks to their bipartisan efforts, Granholm has pinned the state down to the most destructive energy paths we have ever seen, and we don’t have the money to comply with it.

What are we doing here?

Fred, pal, listen. I don’t believe you have it in you to be tough on the EPA after your family’s company Whirlpool got such a tidy sum helping us all green the planet. I don’t believe you are strong enough to fight the Sierra Club, and the Environmental Law people and on and on. You are not a real “get your hands dirty” kind of guy, and your tough talk isn’t fooling anybody. But if you really want to save your career, your state and your country, you’ll find the strength.

Do you know what you should do? Talk to Sarah Palin. Palin knows a lot about energy, it is one of her signature issues. Oh, and I was just joking about crying earlier, don’t cry. Sarah wouldn’t cry.

The Stupak Lesson

Cross-posted

First off, I’d like to open with a joke. Bart Stupak is going to be teaching at Harvard.

Side-splitter.

Bart Stupak is pleased that he has retired from Congress and insists that he has done the right thing in voting for Obamacare. He made it clear during the fight between him, his constituents and the nation that he would not allow the healthcare bill to pass with federal funding of abortion. During March of this year, he was on television and radio daily assuring everyone in the nation that the final passage of “health care for all” would not contain the federal funding of abortion. His Stupak/Pitts amendment was designed to insert the Hyde amendment into the bill, but once the bill left the House, it was replaced in the Senate by the Senate’s own version which did not include the Stupak/Pitts amendment. He then went to Obama, who had his own version of a bill (which was not acceptable to any of the members of the House and Senate,) to make sure that no federal dollars would be used to fund abortions in the last stages of “reconciliation.” Reconciliation cannot be and was not used during the passage of Obamacare, in fact no bill was passed, hence the famous Pelosi quote, “We have to pass the bill to find out what’s in it.” Nobody knew what the bill said because nobody read it, because it was not an actual bill until after they voted for it. When Stupak waved an executive order from the most pro-abortion President this country has ever seen, and said it would act as his Stupak/Pitts amendment would, he sealed his fate and then retired in April.

He has complained that his life had been a living hell ever since he voted for Obamacare, but that is not entirely true. Once Stupak made his announcement that he would not allow the bill to pass because of abortion language, he drew harsh criticism and a Democratic challenger in his district who was incensed that he would stand in the way of abortion rights for women. The calls he received that he said were terribly critical, (enough so that he and his wife had to change their home phone number,) were not from the conservatives in his district. They were from the pro-aborts who said that he was ruining “health care for all” because of the abortion issue. Laughably, some liberal women in the House said that they were willing to vote against the bill because of the Stupak amendment which was actually the most palatable suggestion to conservatives. No Obamacare, no federal funding of abortion.

It is important to remember that Stupak was not a blue dog. He did not like the term attributed to him, as it did not describe him. He was and is a complete leftist who made a big deal about hunting and abortion in order to get elected. The First District of Michigan became wide awake when Stupak began making his deals in the Summer of 2009, and I believe his new-found popularity with the press really excited him and made him feel important. He soon found out that the leadership and far-left of his party did not really like him, and none of us really know what he had to do to get the executive order from Obama. We speculated that it was the funding of some airports in his district, but we cannot be sure. What we do know, is that Stupak has always thought like a leftist, and that he believed what he was doing was mandated by the fact that he was duly elected, and that meant he would be able to make decisions for all based on what he and the rest of congress believed was the right thing to do for everybody.

It is also important to remember that the Tea Party Express was traveling across the country, riling up the everyday people in the nation, and targeted Stupak. When they entered the First District, they publicly offered Stupak $700,000 to resign. Within two days, Stupak announced his retirment, saying that he was planning to anyway, and hoped they lost a lot of money trying to get rid of him.

Shortly after his vote, Stupak started a pissing match between him and the National Right to Life, who had endorsed him for nearly 20 years. They eventually rescinded their endorsement because they found out what he knew all along, Obama-care was passed with the federal funding of abortion.

The story of Stupak’s political demise is summed up by this lesson. That elected representatives cannot use social issues to get elected and then bastardize them for political expediency. Stupak would never have been elected if he was pro-abortion and anti-gun, in the end, he was evicted by the sentiment of his constituency.

Our great nation is mostly a nation of good, honest, hard-working people who stand on principle. Yet, political junkies and belt-way hacks continue to miss the reason the Republicans won the House, and so many primaries went to the most conservative Senate seat-seekers. Many consultants believe that the Republicans won because of the fiscal issues and that we should tone it down on the social issues because it rankles independents. But as evidenced by the Stupak lesson, the Republicans did not win because of fiscal issues alone.

Here is the main problem. The rank and file members of the Party of JFK are understanding this nation’s direction faster than the powers-that-be in the Republican Party are. They are monumentally concerned about the fiscal and moral direction of the country, and they are willing to vote Republican, if the Republicans realize they are the beneficiaries of American backlash against liberalism. In fact, many so-called independents voted Republican and many Democrats voted Republican. The greatest mistake for the Republican Party to make is to allow them to drop from our side altogether because we decide to believe the claptrap that Americans do not care about social issues.

We can remedy the situation by understanding these basic points. One, that America is no longer asleep when it comes to politics and government. Two, that ordinary, everyday Americans can do extraordinary things when motivated by the audacious acts of their representatives. And finally, that Americans fought the entire year of 2010 for their country and were assured that the Republican Party would have the guts to save it.

I am reminded of a story that was told to me by a nearby veteran. He talked about how he walked in on a sergeant who was berating his enlisted men calling them names, questioning whether or not they had fathers and in general, making fools of them. The vet I know called the sergeant to task, telling him that he cannot expect his men to carry out their jobs with that sort of leadership. The vet was reprimanded for talking that way to the sergeant, but in the end, the sergeant lost all respect from the men he commanded. The Republican Party cannot afford to lose all respect of their new ground force.

The Republican Party has the ability to win from here on out if they understand the lessons. If they do not, they will not only lose elections, but they will lose the Party and we will all lose the country.

Grassroots Call For Saul Anuzis As RNC Chair

Crossposted

I don’t pretend to know and understand the ins and outs of internal party races like the RNC chair race, but I do know this, it makes sense for former MIGOP chairman Saul Anuzis to become chairman of the Republican National Committee.

Saul has been the first to throw in for the race, and Steele is expected to announce his intentions this evening. Others who have formally announced according to Anuzis’ blog are “former Bush Administration Official Maria Cino, RNC Legal Counsel & WI Chair Reince Priebus,”and,” Ambassador Ann Wagner.” Still, it is not clear if former Republican National Committee political director Gentry Collins is in yet, Collins left the RNC in a huff decrying Steele’s ineptness at fundraising and his mismanagement of funds, nor is it clear if former RNC chair Mike Duncan is in. Regardless, the field is crowded, and may get more so.

Putting aside all the politicking, my purpose for encouraging endorsements for Saul Anuzis is from a purely grassroots level.

I have never met Saul Anuzis, but I know him. I entered the Michigan Republican Party less than a week after Barack Obama was elected President. Anuzis was on his way out as Michigan Party chair, and I heard him speak at the February of 2009 convention in Lansing. Saul’s outgoing message to the convention was one of conservatism, principled leadership, and republicanism. He reminded everyone that the Republican party was founded in Michigan, “Under the Oaks.” It was not long after the convention that I realized what Anuzis was doing to help people like me become more involved in the Republican Party.

Through his facebook, blog and twitter account, Anuzis shares information and creates a notable relationship between himself and members of the Party. It is my view that he led the internet charge during this last election cycle here in Michigan, even though Ron Weiser was MIGOP chair. That ability to contact and connect people from all walks of life and plug them in to the conservative message of the GOP is as valuable as gold. Anuzis won over many conservatives who had never been involved in the Republican party before, to the cause of defeating the Obama agenda, and democrats in general. The grassroots turned Michigan red, and that relationship between the grassroots and the suits is what the RNC needs.

I cannot think of a better, more clear reason to vote for an RNC chair at a time when so many are so upset at the RNC. Too many times the RNC has gotten itself involved in primaries and tried to pick winners prior to the people casting their votes. It is unconscionable that the RNC acted as kingmakers and plenty of GOPers let it be known by refusing to give money to the RNC, instead electing to give money directly to the candidates of their choice. Anuzis has made it clear that raising money is important in being RNC chair, but now that the Republican Party has the potential of massive grassroots support via the tea party and conservative causes nationwide, there has to be someone at the helm who understands the problem. Saul does.

The Republican Party in Michigan has been on life support for years. It is my view that it has only recently come alive, not due to Ron Weiser’s leadership, but Saul’s grassroots outreach. Of course money is the mother’s milk of politics, as Duncan has said, but so is what has driven our wins in this last most crucial election cycle, those people who have not money, but time and ability to influence. To be blind to the effectiveness of the internet in political campaigning is ridiculously naive and should count Ann Wagner out of this race. During the recent debate, she mused that the internet is used by women to watch what their children are doing online. She clearly has not been paying attention to how we won across the country. Anuzis was correct in his suggestion that, “The largest demographic that’s now growing on Facebook are women between the ages of 45 and 55,” he said. “These aren’t just kids, guys. These are our viewers.” (Although I don’t completely fill that demographic, let’s just say I’m before my time.)

Anuzis is clear, conservative and focused. I am in favor of Saul defeating Steele, and I don’t look at people’s skin color or gender to persuade me in filling jobs. The RNC needs grassroots driven people at it’s head if it expects to keep grassroots working for them in 2012.

Todd Lassa, Is it that time again?

After Motor Trend Magazine named the Chevy Volt, “Car of the Year,” Rush Limbaugh articulated what everyone on God’s green earth was thinking,

Oh, by the way, did you see that Motor Trend magazine has named the Chevrolet Volt the car of the year? Folks, of all the cars, no offense, General Motors, please, but of all the cars in the world, the Chevrolet Volt is the car of the year? Motor Trend magazine, that’s the end of them. How in the world do they have any credibility? Not one has been sold. The Volt is the car of the year.

Agreed. While Motor Trend hails the Volt as a “game changer,” Car and Driver and Investor’s Business Daily give a less glowing report.

Car and Driver points out the fact that it is government intervention that pushed the Volt forward, and the many detracting qualities of the Volt, namely, it’s many hidden costs.

Investor’s Business Daily was very caustic, calling the Volt a fraud, and bringing up many concerns including,

This is what happens when government picks winners and losers in the marketplace and tries to run a business. We are not told that we will be dependent on foreign sources like Bolivia for the lithium to be used in these batteries. Nor are we told about the possible dangers to rescuers and occupants in an accident scenario.

The reason Rush’s attitude is down on the Volt, is similar to IBD’s post and because it is not necessary. It is a government-subsidized, extremely expensive project that has only one purpose; to make people feel good. Make sense?

As Motor Trend lavishes praise on the Volt’s low emissions and high mpg, they completely miss the point of what the Volt is actually supposed to be. It is supposed to be the answer to peak oil and climate change.

However, peak oil is an extremist view of a world oil shortage which is not based on fact, and climate change aka global warming has been completely debunked.

So, Chevy’s exercise in stupidity, built for the government, for reasons that are illogical and unfounded, comes with a huge price tag that is mitigated by the government.

Can we all please remember that “the government” is our tax dollars, therefore my back, and your back?

The fact that Motor Trend’s Todd Lassa decided to lash out like a spoiled toddler at Limbaugh also shows the hyper-sensitivity to criticism of their pick for car of the year.

Lassa’s very partisan diatribe includes,

But, harrumph. In its attempt to force cars that don’t use much gas on us — how un-American/un-ExxonMobil/un-Halliburton is that? — the Obama administration is offering a $7,500 tax credit on the Chevy Volt, grabbing tax breaks and credits right out of the deserving, job-creating pockets of America’s richest individuals. How dare he?

and,

Maybe you’re worried that if the $7,500 tax credit works, too many people will buy the Volt, and that could reduce the need for oil drilling tax credits?

and,

Thanks to the recently unbridled ability of American and foreign big business to contribute unhindered to their favorite politicians – both Democratic and Republican — you don’t need to worry about rampant left-wing policy coming out of Washington any time soon.

and this below-the-belt screech,

If you can stop shilling for your favorite political party long enough to go for a drive, you might really enjoy the Chevy Volt. I’m sure GM would be happy to lend you one for the weekend. Just remember: driving and Oxycontin don’t mix.

Total dick move.

Lassa is a fool for his attack on Rush. All Rush did was give an opinion, Lassa lashed out like menstruating woman would.

I suggest everyone around Lassa to not comment on how he looks. Just sayin’.

Don’t believe in Global Warming? You’re nuts!

The green movement is trying to figure out what to do with you conservatives.

They recently have been observing you in your natural habitat, sort of like watching dung beetles, taking notes on your behavior.

What they cannot understand is how to bridge the gap between you simplistic deniers and the need to accept climate science.

Noting that the average denier is a middle-aged white male with a thick wallet, they are disappointed in themselves for overlooking the fact that they forgot to include the need for sociologists and psychologists in the last round of government grant applications. If only they could bridge the gap between people who are logical and earn money, and their wispy half-baked notions.

With the proper amount of psychological application, the greens feel they could help you stupid people understand their message, or, to put it in their language:

Academia has an ahhhh…empirical duty to produce societal change ahhh…..through systematic and ahhh….conceptual enlightenment provided the theoretical methodology ahh..uses both interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary reasoning as an ahh….implied consequence to ascertain a descriptive generalization.

I’m exaggerating, but not by much.

The greens are seriously concerned that skeptics of climate science are increasing in number, and are so polarized, that their sacred scientific argument is beginning to look like the abortion debate in the country. (Except for the fact that abortion has actually been debated.)

So fellas, your problem is that you have denied the existence of global warming, and the greens are going to fix your problem by sicking a pack of psychologists on you to make you understand. In their minds, y’all need your mind bent.

Your rejection of their science is causing them to apply more science.

I’m sure that will work.

Bush is wrong.

Palin roused the base, McCain was unqualified to run as president precisely because he was hostile toward the base.

Scarborough, Roll Over!

Joe is in the final stages of being completely neutered. His principles are shot, and in no time, he will be drooling and sounding like Andy Rooney.

Conservative Unity In Michigan’s First District

Dr. Daniel Benishek is running a positive campaign for U.S. Congress in Michigan’s First District.  He gained national attention within hours of Bart Stupak‘s press conference on March 21st, 2009, when he announced he would vote for the health care bill.  It was widely accepted that Stupak had betrayed his conservative district with his decision to vote for the Health Care Bill.  Radio talk-show host Mark Levin had Dan on his radio program the next day, supporting him over Stupak.  A flurry of television and radio appearances followed, including Sean Hannity, and Neil Cavuto.  With help from the grass roots and the Tea Party Express, Stupak made a decision not to run for re-election.  In a 6-way race for the primary, Benishek won the district with just 15 votes ahead of long-time State Senator for part of the district, Jason Allen.  Allen made a decision not to ask for a recount, and Benishek would move on to face a Democrat challenger, Gary McDowell and three other candidates.  Below is a list of important names and endorsements of Daniel Benishek M.D.

State Senator Jason Allen said: Our state and nation are facing many challenges:loss of jobs, runaway government spending, regulations that discourage business development and federal health care regulations that increase costs without improving individual coverage.  In Lansing and Washington, we need changes that will put Michigan’s residents back to work.  It is important to elect leaders who understand that jobs come from a robust private sector and are not created by government.  We need to elect leaders who will preserve our way of life and keep our environment healthy.  I encourage you to vote for Dan Benishek for Congress.

Republican candidate for Congress, Tom Stillings said:  As we all know, these are pivotal times.  The decisions we are all about to make whether as individuals, or as a nation will determine the nature of the world that we will leave to our children and grandchildren.  The only rational choice is a person of conservative values. We need someone who will have a team behind him and around him to back up his proposals, as he works with them to downsize and limit the federal government.  Today, I formally endorse Dr. Dan Benishek.  After spending months on the campaign trail, and having met and observed the opposition, I feel uniquely qualified to make this judgment.  For the sake of the nation and for the sake of our children, I urge all to vote to send Dr. Dan to Congress.

National Conservative Activist and former Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin said:  There’s a lot of talk about the race in Michigan’s 1st Congressional District.  Dr. Dan Benishek is the kind of commonsense voice  we need in Washington to replace the retiring Bart Stupak. As a  physician, he understands why Obamacare must be repealed and replaced  with true health care reform. Dan is determined to work to get our  country’s fiscal house in order. As a self-described “hunter and  fisherman and proud member of the NRA,” he’s great for Michigan 1st  District, which like Alaska, is home to outdoor enthusiasts who love  their hunting and fishing.

Radio talk-show host Herman Cain came to Northern Michigan twice to speak on Dan Benishek’s behalf.  He said: Dr. Dan Benishek didn’t know a year ago that he was going to run for Congress for you all today.  I didn’t know a year ago that I was going to be here speaking on his behalf.  Dr. Dan Benishek is going to vote to repeal the Health Care Deform bill, and put a much better law in it’s place.  Let’s all get together and vote for this man, who will represent his constituency so well.  He will do the right thing for the people.  He is running for Congress for the right reasons.

Phyllis Schlafly, conservative author and activist said:  Dr. Benishek had the courage to stand up  and  say ‘Enough is Enough’ when he saw the way the liberal majority was growing government and spending taxpayer dollars.  Colleen Holmes, Executive Director of Eagle Forum followed up saying: “One of the greatest results we’re seeing with the Tea Parties and the massive grassroots outpouring against the current Congress’ agenda, is that candidates like Dan Benishek, who are committed to their faith, family and communities, are stepping up, making the sacrifice and doing the work necessary to run for Congress.

Docs4PatientCare, an organized grassroots society of medical professionals opposed to the new Health Care Law endorsed Dan Benishek.  Director and spokesman Dr. Richard Armstrong said:  It is unfortunate that the Congressman currently representing Michigan’s 1st District has played such an important role in the passage of the misguided legislation that is already starting to ruin the doctor-patient relationship. Obamacare is causing insurance premiums to rise and is leading to the inevitable rationing of care.  It is only fitting that Dr. Benishek, a physician who understands the importance of <strong>de-funding, repealing and replacing </strong>this legislation take this seat back to provide the people the representation they deserve.

Tea Party and Liberty group endorsements:
The Alpena Tea Party
The Otsego Tea Party
Lyle and Trudy Dickinson, leaders of the Onaway Tea Party
Dennis Kelly, president of the Petoskey Tea Party

Jim Hafeman, president of UP Patriots
Richard Abraham, President of Americans for Constitutional Enforcement

Wide Awake and Fired Up for Christine O’Donnell Like Never Before!

MarkLevinFan has an absolutely great multimedia blog post that will fire you up to support Christine O’Donnell. You must read and listen and watch the whole thing. Christine is running for the seat previously held by Joe Biden, and she is a conservative Republican running against Representative Mike Castle. The primary is only eleven days away, and Castle’s camp is surprised he is not running away with the Republican Nomination, and has begun a smear campaign against O’Donnell.

Last night, Mark Levin opened his radio show by calling out the media, including some so-called conservative media for joining what appears to be a smear campaign against O’Donnell. He finally throws down a challenge directed at Castle to come on his show and debate the issues.

“I want to see if Mike Castle will come on this program and answer questions. Not about his rent. Not about what he does in his home. Not about any of that. No, I want to discuss government run health care, cap and trade, his record, his pro-choice position. I want to discuss matters that are going to matter to you and me.

I want to know if he would have voted for Elena Kagan. I believe he said he would, but I’m not sure, I’d have to double check that. I want to know what he would vote for to go in the court system.

I want to know what this man will do that affects our lives.”

Mike Castle voted for Cap and Trade, is pro-choice and said he would not repeal Obamacare. These issues are crucial to the Delaware people. Mark Levin is rightly angered by this smear by the National GOP and the State GOP of Delaware, and it is even more clear to those who are only partially paying attention when Mark received a phone call late in the show. The call alerted him to an interview of Tom Ross, the Republican Party Chair of Delaware. MarkLevinFan posted the video of the interview and it will absolutely make you crazy insane angry and ready to fight like hell for Christine.

The most disgusting parts of the interview by Carl Cameron of Fox News, shows the Republican Party of Delaware and it’s chairman to be completely out of touch with the average voter in the First State.

Ross is asked if this primary will be competitive, and answers that at the end of the day, Castle will be the nominee. Cameron raised the concern of the Tea Party Express, which has recently shown up in Delaware, raising money to defeat Castle. Ross blows this off, saying the people of Delaware know and love Castle, he’s a fiscal conservative and he’s created jobs. It literally only takes Ross 40 seconds into the interview to begin trashing Christine.

Cameron brings up the smears that have been dogging Christine all day, that she has had problems with her personal finances. Ross answers that he is not going to slam anyone for problems in their personal finances in these tough times, and then he slams Christine for having a tough time for 10 to 15 years as if that is real political fodder.

“When you’re running for office, and you’re running an aggressive campaign, and claiming you are a fiscal conservative, and had a 5 or 10 or 15 year period of real difficulty, I think that that is what really becomes relevant.”

My reaction? What a piece of filth this guy is! Unreal! Hey buddy, a lot of us have had tough times, some of us have our whole lives. So you want to put down a woman who is just like most Americans, because in your warped view, only people who have never had money problems until very recently are Senate material? What an elitist, snobby, out of touch thing to say. You are what makes the Republican Party so difficult to defend sometimes. You are why we are having a difficult time recruiting people to vote Republican and change their registration. Who wants to stand next to you and defend those remarks? The National GOP? Perhaps, but it will not be me and the vast numbers of Americans ready to take back the capitol from the Democrats.

“Christine is a really interesting character in that she has some of the attributes of being a good candidate, but what Christine really should be doing is focusing on Christine right now, and getting her own life together.”

What a chauvinist! He just said, basically, that little Christine can’t run with the big boys because she has her house to tend to. Are you kidding me? What a ludicrous thing to say! And everyone knows, Tommy Boy, that you are running scared of this woman, and I for one cannot wait to rub your nose in it in two weeks. You will have your comeuppance, and if the Republican women of Delaware do not take notice of your filthy attitude, I’m sure plenty of decent men will.

“Even though Christine has never had a negative ad run against her, her negatives are through the roof, because Delaware is a small place, where we know each other, and she’s just not a viable candidate for dogcatcher, let alone the Senate.”

Oh, but wait, I thought you said she has some of the attributes of being a good candidate? Now she can’t be a dogcatcher? Boy, you just keep talking and it is obvious this bash and trash is exciting you. You are all over the place, Tommy Boy, you bloated sack of horse manure.

“There are roughly 100.000 more Democrats than Republicans in this state, so in order to win, you have to sort of knit together a quilt that puts together a lot of independents, a lot of Republicans, and some conservative to moderate Democrats.”

This is hilarious. Tommy and Mikey are going to knit. Tommy in his pink blouse and Mikey with his Dopey smile are going knit a happy quilt of moderates and independents and Democrats.

“Ya know Christine O’Donnell only had 5 contributors from Delaware in the last quarter. The fact that you have an outside group coming into Delaware, to muddy up a beloved son that was governor and served this state in a very classy, dignified manner, you’re gonna have a lot of Republicans coming out to resoundly reject that.”

Tea Party Express, you keep on truckin’ and keep on raising money, and keep everyone’s spirits high and we will defeat this feckless loser and the entire good ol’ boy Republican establishment and they will be on their knees in two weeks asking what can they do for Christine. They will have cow-tow to Christine and lick her boots and say yes ma’am and please forgive me, and ask themselves what kind of flowers does Christine like, and wonder everyday if they will have a job in the Republican Party. Then they will see what it is like to struggle for awhile.
