This is probably a little bit stale as the news cycle goes – but it’s still IMPORTANT, and worth effort forward.
All you Republican party professionals whining about how she’s messing up and ruining the Republican brand. I’m talking to you.
MAN UP!
Your party needs you. yes, YOU.
You’re professional party, right? You know what’s needed to keep Palin from “embarrassing” herself and the party when she leaves Alaska, right? Why are you COMPLAINING to the press of all people? It doesn’t help you and it hurts the party. Don’t you understand?
Remember these immortal words – “Never speak ill of a fellow Republican”
What is your problem?
You are letting her fail, and by extension the party – she is the most visible representative of the party today.
YOU ARE LETTING THIS HAPPEN. It’s a big tent, right? Live it, don’t just talk about it. Open your arms to those “icky” conservatives – they’re still part of your coalition, whether you like it or not. They might “open up” a little bit if you didn’t take them for granted at the same time you hold them in disdain.
Offer your services if you think she needs them. It can’t hurt. It will pay dividends by stopping the bleeding YOU are allowing by letting (abetting) a loyal member twist in the wind.
I don’t care if you like her, personally or professionally. But you are hurting other candidates across the country by letting this go on.

They’re contemptuous of her just as they are contemptuous of all the people who “cling to their guns and Bibles.” It’s the political equivalent of the old NOCD; Not Our Class Dear dismissal of a suitor.
Frankly, as much as I disagree with Sarah Palin on things Alaskan, her treatment at the hands of the coastal elites actually strengthens my support for her as a National figure; the effete snobs on the coasts, and especially the East Coast, really need to confront people who can actually do stuff and who aren’t afraid of their shadow. I’m reasonably certain that I could clean out any bar, any White bar anyway, in DC and I’m not even one of those outdoorsy tough guys like Todd Palin. People like Todd really must tighten the sphincter muscles of East Coast metrosexuals. And the idea of a woman with a gun must really cause them to go limp. In my world, we buy our wives guns for Mothers’ Day presents.
Kyle8 I think it was just came out and said it on another thread today; maybe it is just time to dissolve the union. I really don’t like or have anything in common with the majority of the people in the Northeast or on the West Coast west of the Mountains. Frankly, I’d like to withhold the natural resources that the rest of us produce from those parasite states and let them starve for awhile. After they gained some respect for their place in the universe, perhaps they could rejoin the union as military districts; citizenship is a long, long way off.
