I think he has racked up more Nay votes than anyone else in the House. I believe the House just has the overall money for their energy and healthcare plans put into this budget bill. The bill is just a basic blueprint for how much they want to spend without the specifics.

There are a certain type of White person (I think it is only found in white people) who literally hate everything good about their own culture and history and so they foolishly hold up as paragons everything which was once denigrated by western culture.

It is the thing that makes people tell myths about the “noble savages” who were displaced, and ascribe a greater value to African history, art, and literature than they deserve.

Obama got elected because he and Michelle are these super-smart, well-spoken geniuses. It turns out he’s an idiot who can only read what’s on a teleprompter. He’s completely stiffing Congress by appointing all these “czars” to run everything, the appointees who do get reviewed by Congress are tax cheats, he’s running an even more secret administration than Bush did, and yet the press continues to worship his every move.

Who cares what the other side would do? We do what is right because it is right. If Obama brings the economy into a death spiral, attack. This is irrelevant, and though the left may have howled, you should treat it like the nothing that it is.

Not should, should is a strong word. I would. It’s just silly customs, and they were probably more excited to see him than he was to see them. He’s huge in Europe. Japan, too.

That great statement was uttered by a US official during the 1908 (?) Olympics in London. The American team did not dip the Stars and Stripes to the King of England. When newspaper reporters asked US team officials why, that’s how one of them responded.

IIRC, the impetus for that act of defiance came from Irish-American athletes on the US team. Some went up to the flag bearer before the opening ceremonies and told him that, if the US flag dipped in front of the King, the flag-bearer would be in the hospital by nightfall.

That tradition has stood the test of time…but I fear it won’t survive The One’s administration.

Obama knows that he must bow before his master or be ousted from his Islamic upbringing. I think it only proper. This is what happens when he misreads his teleprompter, again. One of these days his handlers will get all of the kinks out of their directions and Obama will have clear sailing! Keep up the Bush bashing, simpleton, don’t miss a stroke. Silly putty makes a much better President.
