It is interesting, now that the DJIA has had a minor surge, how all that talk about the Dow being a meaningless “tracking poll” (a quote from Il Duce himself) has suddenly stopped.

This isn’t about being cranky, either — simply about observing what a stand-up guy our Do As I Say, Not As I Do president is, especially in terms of his utterly embarrassing attempts to “reach out to the world.”

I have to hand it to you, though — y’all have managed to select a president who actually makes George W. Bush look articulate, cultured, fiscally responsible, transparent and communicative, and like a foreign relations whiz. Last year, I’d've put your chances of accomplishing that at about nil.
