Every Republican Senator and Congressman should be permanently fitted with a dog training style shock collar. These should be sufficiently powerful that when triggered, they cause said elected official to do a full back flip and then collapse screaming in pain. More than 3 shocks in an hour should potentially be lethal.

Grassroots Republicans should be able to log onto a website and register their disapproval with any Republican elected Officials behavior by pushing the shock request button.

Recognizing that some Republicans are just sadistic and cruel (there is generally some truth in stereotypes), there should not be a 1:1 shock the Official for each time the website is activated. There should be broad and intense consensus among the grass roots that a particular Official is out of line. The website should tally the number of distinct shock requests that it receives per hour from different IP addresses. If a particular Official crosses the threshold of say perhaps 10,000 shock requests in a one hour period, then that official should be doing back flips and screaming in pain as they flash across the screen of CSPAN.

I really don’t buy the notion that we have lost recent elections because of any particular technology disadvantage or failing. We lost recent elections because when Republicans had power they squandered their opportunity and delivered terrible government.
