who is high enough in the Catholic hierarchy able to cover the quantity and quality of Queen Nancy' sins. Exactly how many Hail Mary's would you have to say if you have enabled the murder of tens of millions of babies?

If you or I commit a sin, it's the local priest for us.

When Nancy commits her whoppers, it's off to the Pope courtesy of the US taxpayer.

I recall no major newspaper editorializing against Porkulus.

Editorials are the authoritative voice of a newspaper.

The time for a newspaper to raise concerns over Porkulus, and still have it mean something, was this week.

Don't be surprised if the major newspapers unload on the Obama White House now. It's safe to do so now. Obama knows it. The MSM knows it.

I hereby assert that, in accordance with the principle of "silence equals consent," the MSM's silence on Porkulus justifies our assuming that the MSM supported Porkulus.

By remaining silence, the MSM facilitated the success of Porkulus. So, they own it.

1) We should be nice to Snowe, Specter and Collins, but that's it. We should do nothing to earn their votes on anything, at the very least for this Congress. IMO they've used up their aces. And, if they threaten to go vote with the Dems if they don't get their way, fine. I'd rather spend more time in the wilderness and come out with a fiscally conservative party, than kowtow to these three.

2) Primary Specter. If the choice in 2010 is between Specter and a Dem, I pick the Dem. He just cost my son's generation hundreds of millions of dollars, at the very least. I'd like to see a R Senator in 2010, but I really want to see Specter go down.

3) The MSM is on the clock. Are they outraged by the way the Democrats conducted themselves during this bill? Are they outraged by the colossal waste in this bill? Or, will they ignore it---the way they ignored the Obama campaign's credit card fraud, his promise to "bankrupt" new coal plans, etc... If the MSM quickly moves on to other subjects, I submit that we should take that as tacit MSM approval of Porkulus. In which case they own it, just as much as the Dems do.

Are they journalists firsts, or Democrats? We'll soon find out.

4) We need to talk, repeatedly, month in and month out over the next two years about all the garbage in the bill. We need to ignore the Dems and their MSM allies, as they tell us to "just get over it already."

No, I submit instead that we have not yet begun to fight.

What's say our 2010 candidates campaign on fixing the fixable parts of Porkulus? Surely they can't have spent it all by January 2011. Let's offer the voters a chance to get some of their kids' money back.

We can also campaign as a party who will:
- follow the rules of the Congress. We will return to regular order
- not pork up bills.

Pearl Harbor beat up our Navy pretty bad, but it didn't kill it. In fact, it woke it up. Less than a year later, the tide turned at Midway.

It is possible that the Dems (and their MSM allies) have awakened a sleeping giant, and filled it with a terrible resolve.

But they couldn't bring themselves to treat the folks who had elected them in the same way. The Democrats play hardball because they know it counts but we have had too many sissy gentlemen only too ready to sell the rest of us into slavery.

That and creating a medical system which will ration health care and kill old people.

I was in the car and heard a speech on the radio how they needed it to pass so people on unemployment can put "food on the table." I felt *so* nauseous, is this how they "argue" to get votes with these broad statements creating a fake victim? I wanted to tell him back what about food stamps? We already give out a ton of money in food stamps and it just drives up food prices for everyone. Aren't these people even familiar with public assistance? Also even without food stamps if they were recently layed off they are obviously able to work they can find some way to generate income to buy food. It's so weird the way he created a victim that doesn't exist.

Reading aloud should be mandatory. It helps with transparency, accountability and it SLOWS down congress so they do less damage. They would have to priortize agendas. Or they'd probably all take Evelyn Wood speadreading classes or go to auctioneer school.
