that President George W. Bush once had ratings in the high 70′s following that little 9/11 incident? And his numbers were pretty high a couple of other times as well. Your little tinhorn god’s numbers will also sink when things don’t go as his true believers think they ought to in the months to come.

As to not criticizing a president in time of war, when did your side EVER admit that we were at war? Your bunch called it all sorts of things, but a legitimate war was never one of them. And if you think that we are some vast echo chamber that blindly worshiped Bush no matter what he did, then you grossly uninformed. Unlike the hive mentality on the left, we actually use our brains for reasoning purposes.

Try it sometime. It might hurt at first, but it’s positively exhilirating once you get the hang of it.

Seriously, you have missed the whole point. That Obama has to call out an entertainer or utter the words “I won” is not even close to the bipartisan ship he said he would bring to the table.
Here’s a clue. Put on your rose-colored glasses and do not take them off for as long as Obama is President. The truth will hurt less. NOT.

But I thought that attacking (or simply criticizing) the President during a time of war was considered unpatriotic in the Redstate circle. How can a core value such as that change with the shifting of partisan winds?

In case you haven’t noticed our President happens to be more popular than Rush Limbaugh ever was (and Reagan for that matter, who never came near Obama’s approval rating), so it is good strategy to show moderates the type of unintelligible partisan hackery that Obama is up against.

The American people will understand that bipartisanship is a two way street and certain factions on the right have developed an aversion to compromise. After getting their own way under GW for so long they think compromise (or concession) is only something that they force Democrats to do. But now that their ideas have been rejected it’s time that they get back to work and stop using their office as a test kitchen for their free-market utopian bs.

The DCCC is a PAC whose leadership is entirely composed of members of Congress. These members of Congress are campaigning to stifle the free speech rights of a private citizen, whether through intimidation or by whipping up public support for unConstitutional restrictions.

That point needs to be emphasized, too.
