in this instance smacks of cynical irony of the lowest type. Moral consistency requires an anti-murder philosophy.

“he bears ‘malice toward none’ and manifests ‘charity for all’”. Malice may be construed as voting death for innocents who might “punish my daughters with a baby”. (Punish my daughter…. well I’ll Kill you first.)
Charity for all? How about charity for the very most innocent and the very least able to protect themselves? If the golden rule does not apply to the unborn, then to whom does it apply?

I know that when I read the Bible, I get the impression that government thugs should come take my money to hand to someone else, that Jesus never said to fashion plows into swords, and that we should starve the poor by not planting enough crops to feed them. Yes, He truly is the Obamasiah.
