MSNBC + ACORN + ACLU + La Raza + etc. = Fair and Balanced Election Coverage

NBC News and Election Protection, identified by NBC as “the nation’s largest nonpartisan voter protection coalition, led by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law,” announced yesterday that they “will be joining forces to help voters ensure that their vote will count” this election.

That “nonpartisan voter protection coalition” counts as its partners over 100 centrist, law-abiding, non-fringe organizations like ACORN, Democraciá USA, the Georgia Coalition of the Peoples’[sic] Agenda, the AFL-CIO, the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, the national NAACP and nine local branches, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, U.S. PIRG, the National Council of La Raza, the People for the American Way Foundation, the ACLU, YouTube, and Progressive Future.

Quite the all-star cast there. Take NBC-Universal’s sham “objective news outlet” status out of the partner lists, and it’s pretty much 100% far-left advocacy groups. Non-partisan voter rights advocacy FTW!

I find it hilarious that

Leftists will go to extremes to say that ALL media is right wing; several sects at Daily Kos attacked the New York Times for exposing Chavez as the scumbag he is. Now, the Left is working to increase the power of the worthless teacher’s unions, the AFL-CIO, and ACORN, by attempting to make them mainstream organizations. I don’t see how organizations that encourage voter fraud and work to send tax money down the well to particular constituencies can possibly be ‘centrist’.

Liberals go on and on about how Bush stole Florida in 2000, Ohio in 2004, and how Diebold was in some ‘conspiracy’ to keep Democrats out of office. I think that they’re hiding something, and since they’re historically the party that sends out fake absentee ballots, I wouldn’t be surprised.

At least 2 non-partisan groups participating!

The Human Rights Campaign and the “National Gay Lesbian Law Students” are clearly non-partisan; in fact as Sen. Biden rushed to say in the VP debate, both tickets have identical positions on homosexual marriage. It is interesting to say the least that Biden was hungry to state that the 2 tickets had opposing views on a myriad of issues but insisted the views on homosexual marriage were identical. Speaking of which in California, how is the Prop. 8 looking…compared to the Presidential race? All the more reason we don’t want to offend those homosexual voters that are really, really undecided!

Yes on 8 is ahead right now...

But the No camp is raising more money – including a 250K contribution from our local (Progressive) Public Utility…PG&E.

That being sqaid, the Yes camp can use your help! you can donate here… (https://www.icontribute.us/protectmarriage/initiative/main)
The Yes on 8 camp is having some of the same problems that McCain & Reps have often here in CA – sign are being stolen and the libs in SF & LA are co-opting the vote, stealing signs & saying that us “EVIL” folks are taking away the rights of gays…no one is that concerned about the rights of voters who passed this legislation once already, only to be overturned by our famously fair (LOL) 9th Circuit.

IMHO, the biggest problem that the Yes campaign is facing is the text of the bill saying that voters will be taking away the right to marriage…what a farce. We are facing another takeover by a justice (or lack thereof) system run amok, and educators that take our children on field trips to witness lesbian & gay marriage on the steps of San Francisco City Hall.

Please help if you can to keep a small portion of this blue state red!

This is doing better than McCain in CA, according to polls at RCP – traditionally though, the state is a little more conservative than those we elect (Obama is averaging 10-15 ahead here) Many Republicans are working at as local level here for the few Reps that have a chance to win – where I live is typical ag/small town America, and we are a RED COUNTY from way back. Our problem here is that LA & SF traditionally outnumber everyone else in the state…which is a great explanation for why CA is in the state it is currently in right now. Sadly, I think a cleanup is necessary, but Villaragosa has his nails in too deep, and Schwarzenegger has totally abandoned even the most liberal of Republicans since adding Susan Kennedy as his chief of staff.

State Supreme Court overturned the law, not 9th Circuit.
