If Kagen doesn’t believe in Inherent Rights, we’re all in big trouble!


Last week I believe we witnessed an incredible and frightening event in our nation’s capital when President Obama’s nominee for the United States Supreme Court, Elena Kagen refused to answer directly the question posed to her by Senator Tom Coburn during her Supreme Court confirmation hearings about whether or not she believed in rights that are inherent to us, which I interpreted as an emphatic denial. How else could her answer that she only believed in rights that came from the Constitution
and from the laws be interpreted.

And denying natural rights and natural law during a week leading up to the day in which we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence strikes me as a distortion of the deeply held beliefs of the signers of this sacred document  which clearly states “we are endowed by our creator with inalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. It also strikes me as a betrayal of their intentions which obviously was that they and succeeding generations would be able to live in the freedom our creator intended for us.

The belief in inherent rights is the foundational principle for the concept of American exceptionalism. Our rights are derived from our very existence as human beings created in the image of God, not from the government or even the Constitution. The basic rights of the individual can never be abolished for the sake of the majority or our security which characterizes the mindset of the statist as well as every tyrant that has ever lived. And if Elena Kagen doesn’t “get” who we are and what we are all about, then she has no business being on the Supreme Court.

Obama Had to Fire McChrystal, Right?


Now that this story is about to enter its third day, the overwhelming response on talk radio and on TV from what I can tell and I haven’t been following it every second is that Obama did the right thing in firing General McChrystal. The media is going overboard in commending him for his selection of General Petraeus even though they and their Democrat allies in Congress treated him with utter disdain when he introduced his surge plan for turning the War in Iraq into a decisive victory for the US as well as George W Bush, a fact that was never acknowledged by the liberal establishment and never will be I suspect, although the White House buffoon in residence, Joe Biden, has not been shy about claiming it as a great victory for Obama.

In fact all this praise being heaped on Petraeus in light of their previous disgusting behavior like the General Betray Us article that greeted General Petraeus when he reported to Washington to brief Congress on the Surge Plan was making me nauseous yesterday as former Congressional critics like Nancy Pelosi and liberal media pundits were all reciting the same White House Talking Points as acknowledged on MSNBC while trying to keep a straight face.

In actuality I liked the portrayal the writer gave of McCrystal in the Rolling Stone Article which portrays a General with a common man touch who prefers hamburgers over fillet Mignon, beer over champagne, but above all doesn’t sweat the little things like most Generals and Admirals who made a career of impressing their bosses usually do,  and boy did he prove it. And maybe that is not proper behavior for a  a General but it sure is refreshing.

I spent 26 years in the Navy and because I was usually attached to the Admiral’s staff in my line of work I understand the importance of respecting the civilian leadership that all Military personnel come under through the chain of command. And though I was never privy to the kind of overt disrespect shown the Commander and Chief and other officials, as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, by Senior Staff Officers, I’m sure it could be heard in private conversations in rare moments of candor amongst themselves perhaps after a couple of drinks, but never in the presence of an outsider, particularly a member of the press from a publication that could be expected to be hostile to the Military.

So when the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Admiral Mullens, says he was shocked and feeling physically ill after reading this article, I don’t think he was exaggerating as it was extraordinary to read about this type of unguarded behavior coming from a Four Star General and his staff running a war time command for crying out loud and not the local Army Recruiting office.

But having said that, maybe the actions of Obama and State Department officials should also be looked at closer, which so far is not being done at least not in the mainstream media from what I can tell.

Although I may still be in the minority, I really don’t believe this incident was  anything close to what General MacArthur was discussing publicly when he spoke of invading China during the Korean War in clear defiance of President Truman’s orders and long discussed policy during face to face meetings with MacArthur himself.

If Obama was a wise leader which he has proven over and over again recently that he clearly is not, he would have taken McChrystal to the Woodshed and forced him to make a humiliating public apology that would ring loud and clear the way Gen George S Patton was forced to after the infamous slapping incident in Sicily during World War II. And if they were really smart they might even have devised a plan of deception  by pretending that McChrystal had fallen in disfavor as a way of throwing a curve to the Taliban the way the Allies did when they recalled Patton to England and made an effort to convince Hitler through false radio messages about a phony troop buildup complete with cardboard airplanes that Patton was preparing to attack from Calais, which caught the Germans by surprise in Normandy.

But here I go again expecting that the President of the United States would have a better understanding of U.S. history than he does about the fifty seven states of the Islamic world which he probably had ingrained in his mind while living in Pakistan as an impressionable “all American” boy so he sometimes gets that confused with the number of U.S. States which of course is fifty, but hey…doesn’t everybody?

At least during World War II they didn’t let ruffled feelings and egos as a rule, get in the way of decision making until the War was over, when they finally did give Patton his walking papers after comparing the Nazis to the Republican Party and threatening to invade Russia (picky…picky). But that type of understanding and maturity would be a little too much to expect from this President while he is drowning in oil and horrendous approval ratings. So he really had no other choice but to say “Sorry McChrystal old boy, you’re out and Betray Us, I mean Petraeus is in. Now where are my golf shoes and those funny looking shorts that Michelle makes me wear”

It’s time for Mass Voters to Take On Environmental Wacko Groups by Voting Barney Frank Out


It has been very interesting as well as sad to observe how the burden of  blame has been assigned to British Petroleum (BP) for the Gulf Oil Spill Disaster, as it should, without hardly any mention of the Environmental Community which pressured their allies in the Democrat Party to ban shallow water drilling and replaced it with a new policy of deep water drilling during the Clinton years. Certainly these environmental wacko groups had a large role in this disaster just as they have had in the systematic elimination of the New England Fishing Industry through government over-regulation by global warming loons and pseudo scientists like Jane Lubchenko of NOAA who have hijacked the Magnusson Stevens Act of 1976 and have turned it into something it was never intended to be ….a nightmare for New England Fishermen. And no one has waved his arms more and yelled louder in “apparent outrage” at the audacity of the environmental community than Congressional Democrats including  Barney Frank from the 4th District , despite the fact he is as responsible for their ascension to power as much as any sitting political leader.

In fact, recently Frank and his gang of enviro-statist allies in Congress including the powerful speaker of the House and leader of the environmental movement in Congress, Nancy Pelosi celebrated the anniversary of the Pelosi Amendment which gave unprecedented regulatory powers to the World Bank which is the same anti-American World Bank that also shut down   Georges Bank in large part to New England Fishermen many years ago. This tyrannical banking power grab was also given to regional multilateral development banks to review the potential environmental impacts of development projects for which they provide funding and to make environmental assessments. As chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Congressman Frank is not only a powerful overseer of the financial industry but has become a powerful environmental regulator over the private sector, which is something the fishing industry might consider before they call him for assistance again in their fight against the tyranny being imposed by the environmental community which is joined at the hip with the Democrat party and that is a fact that you cannot deny, no matter how many “We love Barney” rallies the leaders of the New England Fishing Industry  instigate.

Now you can recite the entire history of Magnusson Stevens and tell me all about efforts Barney Frank has made to amend the legislation and his battles with the NOAA and the National Marine Fisheries Service, which would give the appearance that he has really fought for the industry, but he hasn’t once made the simple but potent argument as Earl Sholley, candidate for Congress from the 4th District has that you should let family Fishermen run their own businesses with only limited Government control, and of course that has no hope of ever happening under the present Democratic controlled Congress which is why it is imperative to vote Frank and the Democrats out of the next Congress because the Democrat party will never divorce themselves from the Environmental Wacko community and green groups. It’s time for a clean sweep of Congress and a fresh start for small businessmen everywhere by dumping the environmentalist wacko’s and their anti-capitlalist and development policies for good. The survival of the nation’s economy depends on it.

Even casual political observers understand Frank has made a reputation as a devout supporter of pro-environmental legislation, normally taking the opposite view of Republicans opposed to government intervention in the free market

Environmental groups like the League of Conservation Voters, Defenders of Wildlife, the Wilderness Coalition, and other pro environmental organizations have consistently given Barney Frank among the “highest” pro environmental vote ratings. And now that the Global Warming community has taken over the Environmental community there is a new type of tyrant like Jane Lubchenko, the former pseudo scientist and member of the board of Directors of the Environmental Defense Fund who has waged war against the capitalistic ventures of our fishermen under the guise of concern for fish stocks. It’s imperative that Republicans begin to support Sholley and others who are not afraid to speak openly against the environmental community and their anti-capitalist ventures during the up and coming elections and if they do they will find much support from Republican campaign contributers nation-wide now as well as from Massachusetts voters in the Fall elections.


Don’t Cry Over Spilt Oil Mr President


It seems to me that there are two trends regarding the gulf oil spill that are presently vying for attention among the Cable TV political punditry. One is evolving from the right side of the spectrum and focuses on fixing the problem through good old fashion American ingenuity. As we watch scientifically minded problem solvers pour oil from a test tube into a glass tank and then scoop up all the oil with either hay or some new fibrous product, which leaves the water clear and glistening and reminds me of a show I used to watch in the 1950’s called Mr. Wizard, we’re left in awe of the conclusiveness of the results and wondering only if such a process could be duplicated on a much larger scale.

This spirit of entrepreneurship and “can do “ spirit which has made this country the economic power house it has become, at least until recently, apparently has escaped President Obama, who seems intent on employing a strategy of finger pointing and inciting the left to rail against capitalism. According to Van Jones, the self proclaimed communist and founder of the radical revolutionary group “STORM”, who’s handbook can be downloaded from Glen Beck’s website, “something happened last week”  when a new strategy of inciting the left to action was communicated by the President when he spoke of kicking “A”. If this was some type of coded signal for action as Beck contends apparently it was not lost on “Spike Lee” when he said it’s time to “go off”. Nor was it lost on Rosie O’Donnell who appeared to be foaming at the mouth when she spoke of seizing BP’s assets in a way that would make Stalin, Castro, and Mao proud.

If it’s true as Glen Beck implies that the left is preparing to mobilize in a way we haven’t seen since the 1960’s then the oil spill would only be a catalyst much like Vietnam was a call to action and revolution that never fully materialized although it did change the world from a culture based on Christian values to a godless culture based on liberalism and in fact paganism.

It would seem to me that such a call for waking up the “sleeping giant” or in this case the radical extremists ready to fight for their oppressed brothers, whatever the hell that means, would only come if Obama felt things were not looking chipper in the polls and primary results for the Democrat Party and their mission to maintain hold of the Congress and eventually the White House. I hope Beck and the purveyors of these type of thoughts are wrong, but how can I tell when we have a national media that is absolutely brain dead and clueless to what is going on around them. As far as they’re  concerned the radical revolutionaries belong to the Tea party and look a lot like grey haired grandmothers waving American flags rather that the Code Pink witches spelled with a “b” that showed up at just about every congressional hearing during the Bush years and can mobilize at the drop of a hat or from a single message from their esteemed leader like  “it’s time to kick “A”. I hope I’m wrong about this but we may find out very soon if the situation in the gulf doesn’t improve very quickly.

Mass 4th District Congressional Candidate Earl Sholley was born for the Tea Party Movement


With the Massachusetts Republican Primaries less than 100 days away, as I write this, I’m making it my mission in life, at least for the moment, to work towards selecting the candidate that I believe would be the wisest choice to replace Barney Frank, not only for the 4th Congressional District but for the sake of the entire nation. That person in my opinion is Earl Sholley who is one of the strongest conservatives I’ve ever met and is exactly the kind of “tea party candidate” that is needed to represent the state of Massachusetts during these troubling yet historical times.

The RINO’s (Republicans in Name Only) that run the Massachusetts Republican Party don’t like him because he is too conservative, so they have raised there own candidate, Sean Bielat, who claims he’s pro life, but refuses to make it part of his campaign and also supports the libertarian position of the legalization of marijuana, which is the same position that Frank holds.

At 62, this former successful small business owner is committed to bringing and end to the era of the professional politician promising to serve for no more than two terms. I’ve heard of no such commitment from his much younger challenger, Bielat of Brookline, MA. In fact some of us would actually like to see how Bielat does in a real debate on the issues rather than simply boasting about his ability to raise money as his main reason for running for office. But so far he has refused to debate Sholley

Sholley can discuss politics for as long as you can take it without ever losing his enthusiasm and grasp of the issues, but he listens to you also and is always trying to learn about matters that concern the district’s residents like the fight for lower taxes, illegal immigration, and the  deficit which may reach 14.5 trillion by 2015 according to the Drudge Report.

He ran unsuccessfully four times for the state Senate between 1996 and 2004. He also ran against Barney Frank for Congress two years ago but entered the race late and at best was a long shot against this long term Democrat Institution and national celebrity as well as someone viewed by conservatives as a grave national threat because of his extreme socialist agenda. Sholley got an early start this time around and has become a familiar figure in the South Coast region as well as throughout the entire District putting hundreds of miles on his truck every week just to have face to face conversations with the people who live in the district themselves, one person at a time. But in the tradition of Ronald Reagan who tried three times before he won the Republican nomination, Sholley has refused to give up his quest to put the people back in charge of their government again as the founding fathers intended.

The traditional Country club Republican in the North East is really a Moderate or Liberal Republican if you prefer and usually favor’s abortion rights which is the main reason they have no use for a Conservative like Earl Sholley who is not ashamed to admit he supports the Right to Life as a fundamental God given right which is not negotiable.

He has also been a crusader for father’s rights ever since the state interfered with his efforts to discipline his 14 year old daughter back in 1993 who he says had a genius IQ and was out of control by administering a spanking and the state in turn charged him with assault and battery if you can believe that which resulted in him spending 4 and ½ months in jail for refusing to enter a batterers program, which would be like admitting he was wrong. If you think that couldn’t happen to you I challenge you to try giving your kids a reasonable spanking if you live in Massachusetts and see what happens to you. According to a recent article in the Standard Times entitled Sholley fits party to a tea he also was acquitted of a 1994 charge involving his former wife (now deceased) and a restraining order. (Remember I said he was acquitted) And in 1996, he lost an appeal of a conviction for threatening to commit a crime during a protest in Quincy District Court when he said “watch yourself counsellor”. That was a crime? What if he was only warning her she was about to slip on a banana peel? Clearly this judge did not like Sholley. Anyway…

The unpleasant experience he had battling government officials back then makes him an ideal advocate for any constituency that is presently embroiled in a battle against there own government like the New England Fishing Industry which is being systematically eliminated by government over regulation. The excessively intrusive measures are being spear headed by environmental groups and their legions of lawyers  like the National Marine Fisheries Service with their 4000 employees which is exactly the type of government intrusion Sholley has spent most of his life fighting.

In a recent campaign advertisement Earl was quoted as saying “Government is what the People and Constitution say it is – of the People, by the People, and for the People. It has become a legal Aristocracy of Lawyers, by Lawyers and Judges, and for Lawyers. Large intrusive government is more problem than solution. The proper role is to maintain security and protect equal rights. The best government is the least intrusive and least harmful”. And to that I say “Amen”. And to Sean Bielat I say…”Come out…come out …wherever you are and debate Earl Sholley on the issues so that the People can make the most informed decision possible before they vote in the September 14, 2010 Republican primaries.

The Great GOP Rallying Cry of 2010 : Run Conservatives even in Massachusetts


The up and coming Congressional Elections are going to come down to how committed candidates are to Conservate ideas and principles on the great issues that divide the country and whether or not Republicans have learned the lessons of the 2008 Presidential Election and the elections this year in Virginia, New Jersey, and Massachusetts which is as follows: You can win… if you run as a Conservative on all issues. And nowhere was this more apparent in my own State of Massachusetts where Scott Brown ran as a Conservative and was rewarded with the mother of all liberal bastions, the Kennedy Seat because the administration refused to listen to Conservatives and the vast majority of the American people when it came to their opposition to Obama Care which they insisted on ramming though eventually anyway as Obama’s approval numbers went into freefall.

Nor did they listen to Conservatives when it came to their desires for across the board tax cuts for individuals and businesses that would create real jobs and stimulate the economy, not add to the deficit. And during his victory speech, Brown continued to refer to the Conservative rallying cry from a populous that had had enough with “a government that grants rights and privileges to enemies during war time and spends our tax dollars on lawyers to defend them instead of weapons to stop them”.

And they had had enough it was clear with political leaders who treated grand parents and veterans and average citizens standing up for freedom against intrusive and confiscatory government policies at tea parties and town meetings across the land as nothing more than a group of mindless thugs who now are even being compared to radical Islamic terrorists and militia groups that warrant swat teams being brought in during their rallies. This actually happened against a group of white haired grandmothers waving American flags and singing Patriotic songs in Quincy, Illinois last week (http://www.redstate.com/moe_lane/2010/04/29/swat-troops-against-an-army-of-grandmas/). And as Mayor Bloomberg of New York,  implied after the recently bungled attack in Manhattan, the terrorist was probably someone who opposed Obama Care and had them all looking for an angry white male, Tea Party member rather than someone who was trained in Pakistan by Islamic radicals.

And Conservatives have had enough with other liberal Republicans like Bob Bennet of Utah who went into office promising to cut the spending and leaves office having contributed to the fleecing of America with liberal Democrats and their partners in the mainstream media which has effectually marginalized the Republican Party which Erick Erickson from Red State goes into great detail about in his article <span style=”font-style:italic;”>The Great Disentangling Has Begun:  What Bob Bennett’s Defeat Means and What It Does Not Mean </span>where he explains how Conservatives are disentangling themselves from the Republican Party by rejecting the big spenders of our party who are not prepared to stick to the Conservative line on reduced spending, tax cuts, smaller government, and limiting the powers of the federal government except when it comes to National Security where any measures that are necessary to keep us safe must be taken including beefing up the security of our borders. And in my opinion this obligation to keep us safe also includes maintaining a society that is founded on the rule of law both at the local, state, and federal level as well as the enforcement of the existing Federal statute on immigration which is the present Conservative position on the issue and is stated as follows:

US Code title 8, Section 1325
Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or
(2) Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers…shall, for the first commission for any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both

For years Rush Limbaugh has been saying when you back away from Conservative principles and positions you lose and when you take the conservative side of the issue, which in this case is that the United States is a nation founded on the rule of law then you win every time and no where will this be more evident than on whether the Republican Party  supports the efforts of the state of Arizona to deal with a problem that is clearly out of control because the Federal government has refused to implement its’ responsibilities on the issue for purely political reasons.

In fact President Obama’s latest strategy seems to be to distort the issues as he did last week when he presented a viewpoint that was clearly designed to divide the nation. The Arizona law does not single out a particular people on the basis of their skin color or the way they talk as the President shamefully stated, but whether they’re legal or illegal. The law does not attack law abiding immigrants. It attacks illegal immigrants and the President is distorting it. We are a nation of legal immigrants and have always taken great pride in that, and to suggest for one moment that Americans have invoked a strategy based on hatred and bigotry is an outright lie and the President knows it, but he doesn’t care.

The Cartoonish-like representative of the Massachusetts 4th Congressional District, Barney Frank,  didn’t care about the rule of law either when the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents (ICE) raided Michael Bianco Inc on March 6, 2007 in New Bedford, MA,  arresting illegal immigrants who were part of the “slave labor” force that was working on a federally funded contract to manufacture back packs and survival vests for the US Military while Barney either looked the other way or was tending to other matters like encouraging measures that would lead to our present financial demise with a wink and a nod to Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.  Yet our shameful Congressional delegation and Governor spoke against the enforcement of our laws at photo ops with expressions of concern and emotion without so much as taking measures to see that poor dehydrated  children were given supplements like baby formulae and other needed supplies, which was the least they could have done.

Earl Sholley, Barney’s strongest Conservative opponent in the 2010 elections doesn’t believe, as Barney and Obama apparently do that bad behavior should be rewarded rather than punished. To them our present immigration policy is a racist policy which Barney has even stated would have resulted in the decimation of his family by Nazis if that policy had been implemented in Europe prior to World War II in an unparalleled distortion of the truth that makes Obama’s’ distortion pale in comparison.

Sholley also states on his web site at http://sholleyforcongress.us that he believes that our country is becoming unstable by allowing illegal immigration and wants to go after businesses that hire illegal immigrants and would expel any one who is here illegally and in violation of our  immigration laws unless there is a compelling reason for them to remain.

Sholley’s viewpoint is obviously in line with the Conservatives who will oppose amnesty through hell and high water this year and by doing so will attract independents, but if they cave and go for the vote of those who favor amnesty for the sake of attracting the Hispanic or other ethnic voters they’ll find themselves in the same position as Bob Bennet did last weekend i.e. out of favor with the conservative wing of the party which is in the process of taking the GOP back.

In closing I’ll just say that I don’t have the answer to all the tough questions we’re facing and immigration is certainly an issue that has a complex side to it mostly because it has been ignored for so long by shameful politicians. But my gut tells me that you can’t go wrong as long as we follow laws that don’t violate God’s laws. For example, If I  were living in Europe during World War II I would have had no choice to violate the law of the land by helping  people like Barney Frank’s family escape or help them find a hiding place because doing otherwise would clearly not be something God would approve of. However that is not the case with laws that are passed in a Democracy based on the rule of law and Judaeo Christian principles of civility. And it is certainly not the case here.

During my 26 years of Military Service I had the good fortune to live and travel all over the world, which gave me an opportunity to study other cultures. And I know for a fact that many peoples throughout the world live in countries where the police and public officials are corrupt. And they simply do not have the same respect for the laws as we do.

And anyone who has been to countries where the law is not respected and corruption is out of control like in modern day Russia as I have where the mafia rules has seen the rampant sale of black market goods on all items including drugs  and weapons,  but that is not the case here as the majority of citizens in this country have a higher respect for the law than that. We also obey traffic lights here, unlike in Naples, Italy and when a particular constituency opposes laws that already exist regarding issues such as illegal immigration, or illegal drugs, or prostitution we don’t abolish them simply to get rid of the problem like those who favor the legalization of Marijuana as Barney Frank and even one of his republican challengers  Sean Beilat of Brookline does who was quoted recently as saying “Frank, is not bad on that issue” (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/02/20/barney-frank-opponent-sea_n_470262.html)

I’m sorry Sean, but Barney Frank’s position on marijuana couldn’t be more foolish and more threatening to our culture and for someone who calls himself a conservative to adopt President Obama’s attitude to problem solving by simply legalizing it is very disturbing at the very least. And it’s the wrong year for any such talk because Conservatives are Cleaning House even in the state of Massachusetts as Scott Brown proved earlier this year and it’s time to disentangle themselves from a republican party that has clealry lost its way since Ronald Reagan won his party’s nomination on his third try which should give Earl Sholley reason to be optimistic and all true Conservatives reason to hope, as well .

Down here on the Massachusetts South Coast and in the 4th Congressional District I’m a little tired of getting lectured on the subject of “financial reform” and “risk taking” by socialists. I mean when was the last time either President Obama or Barney Frank ran their own business like the strongest Conservative candidate running against Barney Frank, Earl Sholley and the hundreds of Fishing Boat owners in the largest city of the District, New Bedford, MA have. And when was the last time they risked their own capital like Earl Sholley and these same Fishing Boat employers have, yet they continue to vote for him and support him even though he knows nothing about the courage it takes to do what they do, simply because he is a Democrat with a big mouth who goes through the motions and pretends like he’s fighting for them in public when it was the government and environmental community, that completely destroyed their industry during his thirty year reign.

And if we’re going to be discussing the subject of risk all you have to do is read Obama’s speech to the Wall street and Investor community on Friday and you’ll see that Obama clearly doesn’t understand the importance that risk plays in the establishment of successful enterprises, the invention of products and services and the efficiency of markets. And he also made it clear that he had no business criticizing the amount that is paid to CEOs in the form of salary and bonus compensation for executives who’s companies have paid the Tarp money back as they have. Did you get that? They’ve paid the money back. (Remember I’m talking about Wall St firms not General Motors here)

And it is none of Barney Frank’s business what they make either if any more banking executives should come before his committee in the future. On Earl Sholley’s Face Book page he makes it clear that he thinks Barney should clean his own house first based on a report that Frank was under investigation by Judicial Watch for contacting a bank in his district that received Tarp money to give money to a bank where the husband of fellow committee member Maxine Waters is on the Board of Directors. http://www.judicialwatch.org/news/2010/mar/treasury-emails-suggest-rep-barney-frank-called-former-treasury-secretary-paulson-obta

On the subject of good guys vs bad guys….we find the Obama regime and their flunkies in the Congress and the mainstream media working hard to portray Wall Street Executives and the Republicans as the bad guys, and these Democrat shysters like Barney Frank and Chris Dodd as the “good guys” when it comes to the subject of “Financial Reform”. Reform by the way is the new Socialist code-word for government takeover of a particular segment of the economy or society. It seems that Up is down and Down is Up these days. God help us.
