He ran as a "Blue Dog" conservative D, so how do Republicans in the district start to bring him over to the Republican point of view on any of the issues? I can think of nothing better to do in the year Owens will be in office, before real election with a real Republican running against him, than to pressure him to support Republican heath care reform plans, and embrace other Republican stances on issues, ought to drive Nasty Nancy and his Obamaness crazy.
