Crimes against humanity on this scale, which are so easily seen through by the majority of the sensible population, are deserving of capital punishment.

The AGW movement's leaders KNOW they are wrong and still they pursue power.

Hang 'em high.

AND CONFISCATE THEIR (and their family's) wealth.

that Lord Monckton chose to use.

“<em>Public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite ... The prospect of domination of the nation’s scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded</em>.” - Dwight D. Eisenhower

It's even better in full context:

"Today, the solitary inventor, tinkering in his shop, has been overshadowed by task forces of scientists in laboratories and testing fields. In the same fashion, the free university, historically the fountainhead of free ideas and scientific discovery, has experienced a revolution in the conduct of research. Partly because of the huge costs involved, a government contract becomes virtually a substitute for intellectual curiosity. For every old blackboard there are now hundreds of new electronic computers.

The prospect of domination of the nation's scholars by Federal employment, project allocations, and the power of money is ever present – and is gravely to be regarded.

Yet, in holding scientific research and discovery in respect, as we should, we must also be alert to the equal and opposite danger that public policy could itself become the captive of a scientific-technological elite."

Unfortunately, it's our current reality.

so that a state that is hardly representative of any other area of the Country doesn't have so much influence. I don't have a good answer other than maybe try for groups of multi-state primaries.

And if you hate ethanol in cars, you should see what it does to older, carburetted boats! The stuff absorbs water, so you go through fuel filters like you own the company making them. Ethanol dissolves the seals in fuel pumps and carburettors and, worst, many boats have plastic or fiberglass fuel tanks and the stuff dissolves the whole fuel tank.

I'm not opposed to some gear restrictions on the industrial fishing and crabbing that is done out there. There's so much bycatch that there are large dead zones where the sea water is deoxygenated and there is nothing living on the bottom because of the decomposing bycatch; they rarely live when they're thrown back.

and out on the ice. They are rarely seen more than about 100 miles from shore. Basically, they use ice floes as their base camp, boat if you will, to reach their primary prey, seals and other marine animals. Like other bears, they are omniverous and will eat anything they can get ashore, but when on the ice, are pretty much totally carniverous and will consume carrion as well - like other bears.

In my observation to the extent that they have any real environmental threats, it is from depletion of their prey caused by over-fishing. Like the other big bears, they have no natural predators, though I suspect a killer whale could give one a good tussle. There are a lot of really big nets scouring the North Pacific and Bering Sea and there have been variations in the populations of various marine mammals that subsist on fish. If anything, the North Atlantic and the more accessible areas of the Arctic Ocean are even more heavily fished. In sum, school lunch fish sticks are far more of a threat to polar bears than climate change.

even though their numbers are growing.

--------------------
Just last month, McAleer publicly confronted Gore in an contentious exchange at an environmental journalist conference, where Gore was the keynote speaker and took questions from the audience.
When asked by McAleer whether he would do anything to correct the errors found by the British court, Gore said he wouldn’t go through each of the errors but added that the ruling was in favor of screening the film in schools.
“There’s been such a long discussion of each one of those specific things,” he said. “One of them for example was that polar bears…really aren’t endangered. Well polar bears didn’t get that word.” The audience laughed.
Phelim countered that the number of polar bears has increased and is increasing.
“You don’t think they’re endangered?” Gore asked.
“The number has increased,” McAleer repeated, prompting the same question from Gore. “<b>If the number of polar bears has increased, surely they’re not in danger.</b>”
Before McAleer could say anything else, he was interrupted by environmental journalists who said it wasn’t a debate and shut off his microphone.

On the eve of the Copenhagan shindigg it turns out that the Danish version of cap and trade is totally corrupt. It appears that the elites are all flying in there for a seminar on how the elites can further scam their taxpayers by creating an artificial market in something that nobody wants or needs (carbon credits) and then allow that market to operate in totally corrupt chaos with a lot of the money sticking to the hands of the elites.

<a href="http://www.cphpost.dk/news/national/88-national/47643-denmark-rife-with-co2-fraud.html"Denmark rife with CO2 fraud </a>

I thought this video was kind of fun. It is good for distribution to liberals whom we all know who think with their hearts (meaning not at all) rather than their brains.

with contracts....these TOOLS will do and say anything for the MONEY...

<a href="http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/local/Former-NASA-climate-scientist-pleads-guilty-to-contract-fraud-8613137-78268862.html">it is indeed a CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE</a>

"A former top climate scientist who had become of one the scientific world's most cited authorities on the human effect on Earth's atmosphere was sentenced to probation Tuesday after pleading guilty to steering lucrative no-bid contracts to his wife's company."
