We're all about to find out and it will be shock and awe. He will rescind everything GWB did that he doesn't want to play with. He may even rescind the things he wants to keep and just keep on doing them because he won't have any effective opposition to point out what he's doing. He'll fire everybody who's ever had a Republican thought as far down in the bureaucracy as he dares. Most of the merit system employees are Ds anyway, but they'll be effectively muzzled; something GWB never would do. Any new President should come into office and on day one, maybe even between his swearing in and his inaugural speech, repeal most of the executive orders his predecessor - from the other party - put in place, and execute a bunch of new ones of his own.</p> <p>Elections have consequences and to the victor goes the spoils.
