Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters under 30 agree with Obama’s statement while 33% disagree. A plurality of those over 30 take the opposite view.

Real Bummer Dude

This is an interesting poll.

Here is the line that caught my eye.

Sixty-three percent (63%) of voters under 30 agree with Obama about spreading the wealth around, while 33% disagree. A plurality of those over 30 take the opposite view.

Ah, yes to be young again. Not a care in the world.
Most of these under 30 somethings are probably
pro-choice, work for someone else at a law firm,
wall street type of I don’t get my hands dirty
kinds of jobs. They don’t have ambitions beyond
the law office and want to be like Barack.

Well good look getting ahead in Obamaland.
Trade that BMW in for a Prius.
Good luck finding power for it in a few years.
Didn’t you hear? Master O has put the nix on
any new nuclear or any power plants for that matter.

Your building is cutting back on power and the elevators are off.
Sorry, you work on the 40th floor??
Get our those Nike’s – what no more international trade?
OK get out the old Nike’s that are about 4 years old.

You wanted to have kids now – sorry you can’t afford it.
20% of your paycheck goes to welfare mothers so they
can raise their childen to take over YOUR job when
you are 50.

Feeling kind of bummed out? Don’t worry 2012 is coming around
and you can hope for new change from Obama.

What? He amended the constitution with his super majority.
He is President for Life? Real Bummer Dude!!

how about next time not lumping everyone under 30 in 1 group.

ya know if this party seriously can’t figure out why it’s losing it will never win again.

man i hope this was snark.

How about reading the article?

I would say 63% is “most”.

  • Most of these under 30 somethings -

Most of the under 30 somethings don’t and
if Obama gets elected – won’t having anything to lose.

The point cannot be made often enough: Modern liberalism, as embodied in the Obama presidency, is the defender of the status quo. And the status quo is a road to economic ruin. Political forces cannot redistribute the wealth that the economic system does not produce.

Excellent!

Very funny and very factual.

Humor helps when the other side is always so very very serious.

PS:
The poll was an over under on age 30 so the first comment confused me.

How about a class in reading comprehension.

“Most” is not “all”.

Frankly, Ithk4myslf, based on the quality of your postings here at RS it would be a really good idea if you quit thinking for yourself. At least until you figure out how to think.

By the way dope, the gist of the comment (the majority of young people agree with leftist comments) has been true pretty much forever. That’s primarily because youth have never had to face real responsibility nor have they been faced with decision making that has impact much beyond the brand of beer they drink. They are not necessarily irresponsible, they are aresponsible. As youth fades and responsibility becomes a reality, leftist ideals get tossed by the wayside like a bottle with no redemption value, because responsible folk will figure out that the ideas/ideal of leftists, in fact, have no redemptive value.

And I am paraphrasing here:

Although, that does imply that I’m without a heart- and will be for another 7 years.

I'd rather have no heart than no brain

Or maybe I’m just an engineering graduate student of the nuclear persuasion who wants to practice his profession in his own country.

Don’t leave the party, hijack it back!

The only poll that counts is the one at the ballot box.

I don’t want to be Reagan. I want to be a Chance/Soros hybrid.

well I was always a heartless bastard

Or, maybe, I just never did understand how it was supposed to be compassionate to steal money from the taxpayers so that you can fund a huge bureaucracy and throw a pittance to the poor.

Using that brain again! Libs really frown on that.

63% of those youngies will soon learn.

Government does not solve problems; it subsidizes them.
