Socialism checklist: First the banks, then the auto dealerships, healthcare, education, immigration?

Prior to the November elections, Republicans warned impressionable voters about how a vote for The One and his running mate could and would lead to socialism. The voters just laughed and proceeded to vote for them anyway.

Nationalizing the Banks

Now, a half a year later, the banks that “fail” have been nationalized along with money lending companies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and Lehman Brothers. Instead of letting them “fail” under the weight of capitalism where you either make it or you don’t and if you do you get to keep your rewards you’ve earned, they are simply bailed out as if their failure was allowed to happen and they get a mulligan.

When FDR was President, he shut down the banks on a “bank holiday” so that instances like those desribed above didn’t happen. 3 short days later the banks which were temporarily shut down opened back up stronger and more controlled than before. Bottom line is people who were frantically making the infamous “bank runs” were allowed to catch their breath, regain their composure, and think logically which is absent today.

What could be next? How about Nationalization of the NY Stock Exchange? Good way to control the market, by, uh, controlling the market. Don’t put it past them. If there is a way, they will find it.

For more evidence we are heded to socialism, don’t forget the use of the “pay czar’s”, cyber czar, and now a border czar,  among the 16 that have been appointed by The One’s administration. Its awfully hard to deny the correlation when they use the very same historical terminology!

We all know The One thinks he is the next FDR. He’s trying to have his New-New Deal. His stimulus is failing and his approval rating is going down by the week.  Unemployment which He claimed “would not go above 8%” now stands at 9.4% according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics  and 48 states have just reported an increase with all-time record highs in eight states.

Auto Industry? Nationalized

General Motors was recently bailed out and has now been renamed “Government Motors”. Will the bailout work? Of course not. None of the others have, why would this one? Why should they, like all the other companies be given a free pass just because they failed?

Now every time you buy a GM vehicle, you are buying it straight from Uncle Sam.

Healthcare Nationalized

I believe its coming. Its been reported enough. The agenga is all about creating a dependent electorate regardless of the issue where the electorate will remain reliant on guberment intervention (i.e big government). Its all about control.

The Media:

Most of the media is already in The One’s pocket. If you watch The O’Reilly Factor or Hannity you can note the partiality that they report by the other worthless “media” outlets: CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC as part of the MSM.

I’ve often said if it wasn’t for FOXNEWS their would be no other side being reported, like of like Communist Russia during the USSR. Don’t worry, The One has a plan for that and all other dissent. The Fairness Doctrine.  When do the political prisoners start?

  • The internet Nationalized. Wouldn’t be surprised if we soon have to pay a “viewing tax” or “governmental regulation” tax all in the name of national security. While I think its pretty certain that all “right wingers” have files on them already, this would just make perfect sense as another check and balance all in the name of taking away rights and further governmental control.

The future: What issues are next?

Education Nationalized?

I wouldn’t be surprised to see public schools get more funding but only so they become a more appealing option for progressive parents who voted for the Dream Team ticket.  If there is a way to reduce funding for private and charter schools, they will find a way.

Bureaucratic influence will increase especially in public school ciriculum where the next generation of voters can be indoctrinated.

Environment:

Heard a rumor that The One is going to make it illegal for a homeowner to sell his or her own house without it first meeting Green (energy efficent) standards which I feel are going to be very difficult to prove since they are up to the eye of the beholder and can be challagenged. More guberment control.

  • Cap and Trade

Tax on everything from coal, oil, gas, liqour. Sounds an awful lot like the Stamp Act doesn’t it???? We all know what happened next….

Supposed to be the greatest tax increase ever. Its the Republicans best chance to win back power since this may be the pocketbook issue that affects these mind numbing drones personally and breaks them out of their Rock Star spell.  Amerikans don’t care about anyone but themselves. Its all about materialism and as long as things are okay for “me” they don’t care what happens or who is in office.

Immigration:

What better way to make a serious problem go away besides ignoring it like both parties largely have ever since the 1986 Amnesty done under Reagan than to legalize it? Its a human bailout. A populace bailout. Basically giving lawbreakers immunity.

Only in Amerika. Immigrants aren’t dumb. They know the U.S. really doesn’t want to do anything about immigration since Democrats can play up the empathy, poverty,  compassion cards and Republicans need to cater to Big Business. Immigrants know that basically as long as they keep their noses clean and don’t do anything illegal they will likely find a job and best of all be able to stay in a country they have no business being in in the first place. On top of that, they can get health benefits (ER visits), paying wages, drivers licenses,  rental agreeements, loans, bank accounts, legal protection/representation etc. they know the system and they know how to play it.

Now it appears The One’s plan is to allow another mass-Amnesty. The pillar of this BS legislation is to include a “path to citizenship” where basically the 12-20 million illegal immigrants will be rewarded for breaking the law by being able to stay. If the roles were reversed and a Gringo tried this in Mexico, what do you think would be his fate?

Not a bad way to pick up 12-12 million grateful, future Democratic voters to add to the rolls via ACORN either is it, the majority of which will need-you guessed it, government programs like welfare, food stamps, tax breaks etc? 12-20 million extra voters will also go a long way to better ensuring these increasing Democratic majorities in each chamber in DC and eventually in nearly every state in the Union for generations to come. Will there be a “Gringo” tax?

Census:

Another way to control the people and make sure Democrats keep their ruling majorities is to not only falsify census information (insert ACORN here) but also give more minority representation by giving them more representatives in Congress which I see doing.

Gays/Homosexual rights:

Similar to the Civil Rights Act (or Civil Privledges Act as I call it) a similar Homosexual Rights Act would bar discrimination in similar faccets. The One has promised to meet (cater) with them soon. Expect him to tie this “historic” legislation in with no only the CPA (CRA to progressives) but also to a new hate crimes bill which would give them equal protection.

Future judicial nominees

After immigrant/Puerto Rican/empathtic symbol Sotomayor is forced through and the Republicans roll over without so much as a right for fear of being called racists, the next one will be some black Muslim convert or someone out of the Chicago machine (minority of course-no white males allowed, remember).

He’ll probably nominate an open-homosexual or an Arab just because He can. He is going to test Amerika’s politically correct limits. Justice Abu Al-something. That’s the way Amerika is going.

Conclusion:

Its not a coincidence that all of this is happening at such a rapid pace. Its done intentially this way before the electorate has any chance to not only react to the new programs but also an uneducated electorate can’t possibly challenge issues that they aren’t familar with because they haven’t the time to conduct the research on any of the issues.  There are simply too many issues on the plate for any of this to make sense and absorb it all in in order to see if a said policy will work, again that is part of the strategy.

Republicans were laughed at, but soon they will look like prophets if this pace keeps up. Unbelievable. Since when was the Berlin Wall reconstructed and the USSR re-confonfederated? It would be easy for them to say, “I told you so, but, uh, they…..told you so,”

and the voters still didn’t care.

Will they in November 2010 when taxes go up and these issues affect them greater?

While I won’t predict a 1994 II because there is neither a Contract With America deal nor the leadership to push it, its safe to say Republicans will make small gains in the House (I’m hoping for 15 seats) and the Senate (2-3 seats tops anything over that is excellent).

Will it be too late by then? Amerika won’t even look the same (literally and figuratively) after The One is done with it…. and that’s just the way he wants it….

Introducing “GEN PC” (Political Correctness generation)

Long before The One was elected and we saw the mass Kennedy-like “Rock Star” attraction many millions of people bought into, most notably the youth vote, I had already been seeing signs of what I have come to label as “GEN PC”.

What in the world is ahem, “GEN-PC” as you say it?

Every generation has their unique cultural or counter cultural characteristics. There was “GEN X” largely (1960s-1980s) with their own clothing style (grunge), musical tastes (MTV), and way of talking and doing things. Some say we are now in “GEN Y” (1980′s-2001?) but I perfer to refer to this generation simply, and bluntly as “GEN PC”

My self-described definition of “GEN PC”
GEN PC (g*in pea-sea) (n): commonly referenced towards a collection of people, but can be an individual associated with a larger group of people, predominately but certainly not exclusively white, generally born between the years 1988-present) but whose influence may extend beyond those “Y” years into other nearby generations such as the “X” generation depending on the level of political correctness and guilt infused and accepted by these individuals. Almost exclusively adherantly liberal. Prone to reject their culture on the basis of its discriminatory or opppressive nature in favor of a more diverse worldview.

(See 2008 U.S. Presidential Election, Obamunists, liberalism, progressives, poltical correctness). Also gay marriage, secularism, immigration, race; stances On).

If you are on a college campus or university, note the political signs that often littered the dorms and public access buildings. Note the reception Tom Tancredo received at UNC-Chapel Hill April 14 for his speech on immigration, note the mass intoxicating Beatles-esque ephoria many people felt in openly campaining for The One.

This is the next generation of voters; they are the ones who are just coming into voting age and whom this pattern has only just begun.

Look at what a mass influx of these voters (young and old) can do to an entire state.

Virginia was once a Southern state in every sense of the word. Today it remains Southern in geography only. Think this isn’t the case? Check out the changing demographics of counties like Prince Edward, Prince William, Alexanderia, Facquier, and Farifax to name a few. This area is affectionaly known as “NOVA” (Northern Virginia) and an area once defended by a gentleman Robert E. Lee who was respected across the aisle has now been re-dubbed the “New South” having been over taken by non-assimilating, political and social-changing transplats like these.

North Carolina not immune either.

Look no further than Raleigh or Cary. Cary has an unflattering acronym “Centered Around Relocated Yankees” and what’s more, to me, a real “Yankee” is a transplant who not only doesn’t assimilate, but takes pride in this fact. Many of these ilk will stick together while bashing the Southern in the comfort and private of like-minded company.

Places like Charlotte (Mecklenberg County) North Carolina are no exception. A 2007 study by the Charlotte Observer yeilded these results.

Why do they come here? Simple. They like “the four seasons.”  They want to experiece a “warmer North” and live “in the South” without actually living in the real South (i.e. rural). Their  idea of “South” is an urban metropolis, often left-”leaning” city like Charlotte or Atlanta.

What is so bad about a Buffaloan moving down from Upstate NY to a traditionally rural and thus conservative place like North Carolina? Nothing, if they assimilated. But the fact is, they largely cannot and will not drop their set voting patterns due to voter loyalty and pycological liberal psyche previously imbedded in their minds before they moved.

Why should you care?

Because we’ve seen the beginning with states like Virginia and North Carolina going blue for the first time since 1964. We could see and lose more states too. Its not unfathomable to see states like South Carolina, Tennessee, or Georgia go blue should these trends continue. These are the people that are electing Pro-Life Democratic candidates like Bob Casey in Pa, Jon Tester in MT, Jim Webb and Mark Warner in Va and Travis Childers in Ms. In the modern South it seems, in the cases of Childers, Warner, and Webb, if a candidate runs as a Pro-Life candidate, they are 80% of the way to election at least by my observations. In the case of Childers who ran on a platform of “Pro-Guns and Pro-Life” this clouded the historical distinctions between the two parties facilitating his victory in the reddest of districts in one of the Deepest states.

What can be done about it?

On the surface nothing.

In a democracy built around liberty, everyone of course, is entitled to their own free will and our mobile society allows for these relcations. However, its not all transplants to blame. Much of this change also belongs on the minds and hearts of native Southerners who after years and years of hearing how bad and oppressive their culure has been towards others, thanks to the media and its influence, have simply turned apolgetic (politically correct) and now side with these largely (but not exclusively) liberal transplats therefore creating almost insurmountable new voting coalitions and voting blocs which swing states that we see today.

One thing I’d adocate is private school education or school choice. Its the only way to ensure a well-rounded education, still centered around Freedom of Speech and religion on which the basis of this country was founded. Public schools are where this new coalition is stemming thus, the college experience only reinforces their engrained beliefs.

Another thing that can be done is talk to your children or grandchildren on current “controversial” current events issues like immigration, gay marriage, secularism, political correctness and see if they agree or differ with your views (if their stance isn’t already known). If they do differ from you, ask them why.

If they cannot come up with anything better than a PC answer like “I’m against discrimination” explain to them how your views don’t qualify as said discrimination and then back them up with historical facts, political and moral arguments as examples. It may not be too late to change a few minds.

Also, if you are conservative, hang around in conservative circles and network. If you have younger children raise them right (no pun intended) from the beginning so when they do get to college and beyond, their worldview on the major issues of the day will be set and they won’t be influenced as easily.

For the rest of it the pendulum will have to swing politically, as it always does, and this new coalition appears to be a needy one (stimulus) with a short attention span. Should The One’s policies not work, or they don’t feel appreciated enough, its not that unfathomable to believe they will simply go back to the ballot box for “change” once again.

What was the point of all this?

Ideally to make people more aware of these changes of the disappointment of the next generation, and draw some conclusions about past elections as well as prepare for future elections whether this be increased GOTV amidst stronger grassroots levels, or fielding better candidates whose morals and true conservative ideology will trump any attempts by these cross-generational coalitions to defeat them and hopefully bring disfranchised Conservative voters back to their base.

Palin: “Kennedy gets a free ride, Couric and Fey “exploiting” me.”

This is such a bunch of crap. While I never was 100% behind Palin because of the fact I do think she is a bit incompetent evidenced by her “Couric” interview in which she couldn’t even list a few daily newspapers that she read or she couldn’t define the role of the VP, I do agree with her on this issue.

Said Palin:

“I’ve been interested to see how Caroline Kennedy will be handled and if she will be handled with kid gloves or if she will be under such a microscope,” Palin told conservative filmmaker John Ziegler, during an interview Monday for his upcoming documentary film, “How Obama Got Elected.” Excerpts from the interview were posted on YouTube Wednesday evening.

“It’s going to be interesting to see how that plays out and I think that as we watch that we will perhaps be able to prove that there is a class issue here also that was such a factor in the scrutiny of my candidacy versus, say, the scrutiny of what her candidacy may be.”

I am so sick of the warm, fuzzy rush that much of the U.S., particularily the liberal left (and media) has for all things Kennedy or all things Bush. We are not a monarchy. We are not in a hierarchial system (yet) where we shouldn’t have so called “royal families” if we are truly a democratic and free society. The fact that the most influential, wealthy, and powerful nation on Earth still operates in this archic system to this day is embarrassing.

The only reason she’s even in the running is because of her name (nothing new) but the fact that idiot NYers will probably (given their blind-sheep voting reord based on carpetbagger Clinton) unoquivically and overwhelmingly vote her into office once her “term” is up in 2010. (I could say a lot more but what is the point? What hasn’t already been said? In a year where Al Franken is going to become U.S. Senator its clear to be this once presitgous club has become nothing more than a joke.)

I ask, is the Democratic political machine (i.e. corruption) really still that strong that supposed free-minded NYers can’t bother to vote for anyone if they aren’t supported by a blue “D” next to their names on any ballot or do they willingly chose to be this way? I fear the latter and that they are just too stupidly legitimately liberal that they honestly want someone like her in office.

Back to Palin, concerning Fey she really was nothing more than an opportunistic flake who seized the opportunity to boost her own career (it worked) and Couric is nothing but a tired, has-been Dan Rather disciple. (kind of like Rather himself along with his career). Coinsidence?

Palin offered the following:

”I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen,” she said. “And I know that a lot of people are capitalizing on, oh I don’t know, perhaps some exploiting that was done via me, my family, my administration. That’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.”

Our society=doomed. This is just the first wave of politically correct raised youth that have no problems with progressiveness, enlightenment, and idiot-media. (believe me, I saw it leading up to the election months in advance).  Its still ”cool” to be liberal when you’re young, thus evidenced by all the new wave of voters who wanted to vote for Obama and his ilk (the Democratic party). Only this time its also popular, common, and a growing trend because of the political correctness factor.

One down, two to go…..

Sen. Stevens concedes, its all going according to plan

Just like I said it would….for the Democrats.

Stevens-check
Coleman-well on the way
Chambliss “appears to be a challenge” but give ACORN some time and they’ll deliever Martin to D.C. just like I and many of the other posters said they would

this is no normal election year
this is no normal election cycle
this is not a democratic election
these are irrational, angry Democrats who will do nothing short to win
if only the Republicans had that much passion regardless of the rules
Republicans worry too much about playing by the rules and its about to cost them 3 seats and a filibuster proof Senate.

People said “no way the Democrats run the table” I said all along “Wanna bet?”
Michael Barone was wrong when he said all those overseas absantee ballots would favor Stevens?

Hmmmmm.

Don’t you get it yet, its mirrored in fraud.

democracy is over

get used to Sen. Franken and soon Sen. Martin

bank on it

Can anyone give me any updates on the following races?

some house seats still in question

Tom McClintock-CA
Virgil Goode-VA
Andy Harris-MD
(R) Steve Stivers/ (D) Mary Jo Kilroy OH
John Fleming (R) vs. (D) William Jefferson-La.

what are some of the other House seats up and what is the current-as-of-now numbers in the 2009 House entering the 111th Congress? How many seats did we really lose? 20?

How many could we potentially lose considering the re-counts from seats like this still yet to be determined?

thanks

Can we just call them Sens. Franken, Begich, and Martin yet?

because we all know that is what's going to happen

Pehaps you saw it today?

FOXNEWS and bloomberg among others sources show that Democratic Senatorial Challanger Marc Begich is now leading embattled current AK Senator Ted Stevens by 814 votes, this only 3 days after I last heard that “the gap was closing” but Stevens was still up by 900 votes.

Is anyone really surprised here? I’ve been calling it for days. Something is crooked here. Not only are the Democrats getting all the votes in the re-counts, or pre-recounts or whatever you want to call them, but votes for the Republican candidates aren’t even being found.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, on election night it appeared that Stevens would win as reported in the early morning hours by Michael Barone on FOXNEWS specifically due to overwhelming overseas ballots that were expected to go in Stevens favor.

We’ve already lost the Gordon Smith seat to relatively little fanfare, and we’re about to lose 3 more seats with little much more than a whimper. If the roles were reversed, the Democrats would fight and exhaust every legal (and illegal) challange, recount, and necessary measure just to make sure their guy came out on top. Why can’t we do the same.

When Franken and the others win, I guarantee you that Sen. Coleman will go down graciously and give some false promise to his supporters that the “better man won” and “we let Democracy run its course and the people have spoken” when we all know there is no such thing anymore as legit democracy.

When ballots are allowed to be cast on days other than ELECTION Day meaning early and now late voting, this defeats the purpose of voting as it creates scapegoats, conveinience, and increase of fraud.

I find it insulting to the public that these reporters and politicans like MN Sec. of State, Marc Ritchie, a known ACORN member, supporter, and endorsed candidate are trying to pass these recounts off as legit and bipartisan. We all know what the end result will be, quit playing with people’s careers like Sen. Coleman and Chambliss by pretending they have a chance.

This outcome was already decided the day these recounts were allowed to happen and they didn’t get the job done on election night. Sens. like McConnell and any other Republican who won, especially those by a narrow margin, better thank their lucky stars they aren’t in this position and allegedly “won” re-election. They better run back to D.C. and set up shop before they too can be re-counted.

You know, the 111th Congress isn’t in session yet-there is still time for fraud.

Let’s just get used to calling them by their actual positions: Sen. Franken, Sen. Martin, and Sen.Begich because we all know that is exactly what is going to happen-whether we like it or not.

Democracy as we know it, is gone as long as outside groups like ACORN are allowed to be around, especially with no equal time group fighting (and cheating) for us on the right.

Could diverse Obama cabinet, appointments be a good thing for the GOP in the future?

Republicans have a chance for some gift-gains should Obama's picks come from states with Republican control

Bill Richardson (D-NM) will likely be appointed something in Obama’s cabinet like Secretary of state.

Lt. Gov. Diane Denish will likely take his place as as Gov. until 2010 elections. Based on the fact she would be new, she’d have to be seen as vunerable right? She’s also white so maybe she’d lose appeal among Hispanic voters that make up a huge percentage of the state, who can’t relate as well to a “gringo”.

*Rahm Emmanuel, *(D-IL 5th D) a Jewish American, essentially beats his opponents by at least a 2:1 margin since his first election to the U.S. House in 2002. Although it is a heavily Democratic district, historically, it last had a Republican Rep. in 1994.

If James Oberstar (D-MN 8D) gets appointed as Transportation secretary that would create an opening for MN Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty to appoint his successor. This could be a coup since the district is heavily Democratic and under normal circumstances there is no way a Republican would ever get elected there. Say the new guy does well, he’d have the inside track on re-election in 2010 as the incumbent.

*Senator Richard Lugar *(R-IN) he’s a Republican yes, but he’s barely a moderate and should he get chosen, popular Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels would be able to appoint his replacement. This could be our chance for a much more conservative pickup who’d have the inside track on the special election-probably one year later (if MS race is any indication) on getting re-elected and have the advantage of being the incumbent.

*AZ Gov. Janet Napolitano *could be named AG. She is very popular and would have to be considered an opponent for McCain when his term is up in 2010. With her now in the Fed. Gov. I think it would be unlikely she’d want to be demoted to “just” a Senator.

What would happen if newly-re-elected WA Gov. *Christine Gregiore *was chosen as Sec. of Interior as rumored? Her replacement Brad Owen could be very vunerable as a political unknown with no senority.

Commerce. Kathleen Sebelius (D-KS) Gov. For soem reason she is wildly popular in this traditional red state. Losing her here would be a huge blow since again, it would put her much less known Lt. Gov. as the incumbent when his election came around. Republicans could get a real pick-up here.

These are the real big ones now. We have to hope that Obama plucks some normally safe Dems out of states with Republican Gov. like Minnesota and Indiana. (maybe Senator Bayh will get rewarded for his loyalty)? We can only hope-and begin to speculate.

Also when does re-districting come into play? Who would have control over that? The indidividual states and whichever party is in power at the time? Maybe we could pick up some real wins there with creative drawing, something the Republicans were always good at-and criticized for, by the Democrats.

Expect the last 3 Senate races to get swept by the Dems

we either get on board, or face censorship

This Administration is proving to me that they take no prisioners and will rule with an iron fist. Evidenced by their first choice of Chief of Staff, hardly a centrist, this is only the beginning.

MN Senator Norm Coleman’s lead is apparantly down to 221 and fading by the day. At this rate, I completely expect MN to have a new Senator by sometime early next week. Tuesday anyone?

The MN Sec. of state (Ritchie) is an ex-ACORN volunteer so you know there is something crooked going on. These Democrats are not your typical Democrats, these Democrats are angry and willing to flaunt the power they know they have on all their adversaries. They have the power and they intend to use it and if you disagree with them, be damned.

*These Democrats have proven to me they get what they want one way or the other. *

In the GA race I expect Obama to come down and drum up support among the black communities so that Chambliss will lose. Anyone find it strangely conveinient that Chambliss fell just short of a win 49.9%? I mean, what are the chances? Expect Jim Marshall to “mysteriously” win this seat. The Dems want a filibuster proof Senate and they are going to get it.

*Finally, Alaska *is the last state to look at. I expect Ted Stevens’ ballots to mysteriously “disappar” or be declared “invalid” even though in the early morning hours of Nov. 5 Michael Barone reported on FOXNEWS that many of the overseas absentee ballots had yet to come in but were expected to favor Stevens and that he (Barone) figured this seat was safe. Guess Again. The Dem will win-book it.

Look at how the new Administration silenced dissent with the removing of three columnists off an Obama plane, from the Washington Times, NY Post, and Dallas Morning News simply because they endorsed John McCain. Whether it be thru the re-institution of the Fairness Doctorine, or evidenced by how the media went after an ordinary Citizen (Joe the Plumber), its clear they won’t tolerate dissent. We either conform-or else.

I expect FOXNEWS’ federal funding to be severly cut and their broadcasts to be strictly monitored and them heavily fined once the FD goes through. That is straight out of communism. The media as we know it is gone as they are already in the pockets of the Dems and the FD will ensure that the radio communications get on board.

When do the commune farms start? When will we have to start producing in mass for The State? When do we have to start learning the Koran?

Obama did not become the 44th President of the U.S. rather he became the 1st Czar of the United Socialist States of America (USSA) and there isn’t anything we can do about it.

The Democrats have two reasons they won this year:

  • Early voting in many states (which is expected to only increase due to its “popularity” evidenced by the many new voters which they will spin as patriotic and non apathetic.

  • ACORN-bless them for they helped the Democrats. Too bad the right doesn’t have such a group. As long as they are allowed to be around Democracy is gone.
