Anyways, I personally prefer Jake, though I have no objection to J-Dub or J-Dubya. Even among my friends who always call each other by their last names, I am called Jake.

All this stuff was predicted nearly 50 years ago by the “kooks” and “conspiracy nuts” who said “Get the U.S. out of the U.N.” All one had to do about 15 years ago was to look at the raw data to determine that a scam was being perpetrated. I know,I did it. I figured I wanted to know for sure if the world was coming to an end. That and seeing the enviro-scams up to that point. This is the culmination of several decades of U.N. garbage. Here’s a question for you. Why does the same Rent-a-Mob in Copenhagen protest against economic globalism but for climate (government) control globalism?

That nut who is heading the thing said explicitly at the outset that the most important thing is “getting money – both public and private – and money we can count on.”

It’s all an effort to expand socialism to a global scale.

I can’t help but wonder how much they spend on all these “conferences” and other gatherings to discuss “climate change.”

Your analysis of Blair’s comments is spot on. With Climatgate boiling under the surface, despite media attempts to bury it, the proponents of climate change are once again appealing to emotion. That’s really been there focus anyway, for the most part. From Algore’s “stranded” polar bears to Blair’s above statement, appealing to emotion has always been the cornerstone of the AGW movement.
