I believe in his warped way of thinking he absolutely believes what he says is the truth. His mission is to punish evil America and all that it stands for because he sees it as “unfair”. And yes, I do think he thinks we are stupid because we can’t understand his perspective. After all, he is a “man of the world”, an elitist and a Harvard educated lawyer. In his mind it is impossible for regular people to “understand” how he is helping America. It matters not that the majority of Americans disagree with him, see thru his shallowness, his rhetoric and his absence of character. He does believe he’s the smartest person in the room at all times and has no trouble making sure everyone knows it.

Interestingly enough, Eric, you forgot the probable third edict….perhaps, and most likely, it is because obama is too stupid to know the difference.

I’ve always found it sad that so many people, especialy liberals, in this country clearly have no comprehension that unions ARE, IN FACT, the real reson that there is no longer a manufacturing sector in this country…that unions are the reason that car manufacturers usually bleed red ink….that teachers unions bankrupt states with their mostly inept teachers that cannot be fired for being incompetent….

Yes, and our illustrious incompetent chief executive loves them…so the question remains….who’s too stupid?

Clinton was effective for a different reason. As the existential President, he was living forever in the passing moment. Honest in his promises to one group and an hour later, honest when he changed his mind.
