SC Gov. candidate Nikki Haley ignored. What gives RasmussenReports?

I did my daily pull on Rasmussen Reports today and came across 2010 South Carolina Governor: Democrat Rex Runs Close Against Top GOP Hopefuls. Naturally I clicked on it, curious to see how state rep. Nikki Haley fared. Much to my surprise, her name was not even polled.

What gives RasmussenReports?

Good question!

That’s what I was wondering.

Then I remembered how the press and pollsters work. They only pay attention to those that have high name recognition. The only ones who have high name recognition are the ones who’ve been career politicians receiving DC lobbyists’ money for years and years.

Nikki came into the campaign with practically nothing money-wise because she has not been a career politician. That’s good from the standpoint that she hasn’t been selling her votes and peddling influence like the big three symbiotic candidate: bauerbarrettmcmastah who has over three million dollars between its respective components.

Nikki can beat them–just as she beat a 30-year do-nothing, good ol’ boy incumbent for the Statehouse.
