Iranian nuclear weapons program: Articles reminding Obama of (one of) the forgotten crisis!

From The Political Commentator, written by Michael Haltman

Reelection aside, the Iranian nuclear weapons program still needs to be addressed!

Out of sight, out of mind is the business as usual Washington approach to impending crises.

A perfect example was the debate over the debt ceiling being raised when all involved parties knew that it needed to be addressed long before the 11th hour was reached.

Obama preoccupation with issues that don’t seem to include foreign policy and national security!

At the current time, and most likely for the foreseeable future, President Obama has his sights set on one thing, and one thing only: the 2012 presidential election!

Issues such as the US economy and jobs creation will take center stage for the President, only in the context of how it can either help or hurt him politically.

Issues that are not on the radar of the electorate will tend not to be on his radar either.

This includes the Middle East, the Iranian nuclear weapons program, the porous border with Mexico and anything else that has to do with foreign policy and national security.

If however, polling data starts to indicate that the American public is concerned with one or more of these issues, why then so will the President.

Labor Day weekend reminder reading for the President on the Iranian nuclear weapons program!

Robert Reich, former Secretary of Labor, explains the potential impact to the country of each U.S. credit rating downgrade to a final rating of B+!

This is an amusing video until the end when uber-liberal and former Labor Secretary Robert Reich takes it in the wrong direction by stating that the only way out of our economic and fiscal crisis is for the federal government and other governmental entities to continue to spend, spend, spend and then spend some more!

Animated Video: Obama versus Reagan on the role of government

Barack Obama has found a new angle by invoking the name of Ronald Reagan into his rhetoric about government, but what would Ronald Reagan think about that?

And what would Ronald Reagan think about Barack Obama?

I have said it before and will say it again in the months leading up to the 2012 presidential election that the rhetoric and platitudes from Barack Obama cannot cloud the reality of the record that he has created.

“Peaceful” Day of Rage on Wall Street planned for September 17!

Is a “Peaceful” Day of Rage an oxymoron and will the protesters be peaceniks or anarchists?

Could the recent UK style violent protest in the streets be coming to America?

What exactly is the purpose of the U.S. Day of Rage called for September 17 on Wall Street in New York and who is behind it? Very good questions!

Some partners of the movement include groups with less than peaceful sounding names such as European Revolution, Take the Square and Stop the Machine Create a New World.

Reasons why social unrest may occur

These are some of the reasons that social unrest and accompanying chaos could potentially occur, but are any of these the reasons why the group organizing this Wall Street event is doing it?
