When Liberals Attack!

The Liberal Progressive mind is such a confused, angry, emotional, irrational and depressing thing to witness. It is devoid of any capability to reason using logic and common sense, let alone truth or facts. I have grown weary of engaging in debate with such people because, despite my attempts to point out what should be grade-school level facts, they never cease to bewilder me at the ineptitude of their responses. The sheer magnitude of their emotionalism to provable logic and facts is absolutely mind-blowing. Inevitably, they resort to bitter, hateful remarks intended to “freeze” the target.

I had the opportunity the other night to catch another glimpse into that very dark place, and I got more than my fair share of the evil that lurks there. One of my old high-school acquaintances posted a link on Facebook that was slamming the Republicans for opposing and delaying the vote on the unemployment benefits extension. She even had the audacity to post a follow-up comment telling everyone to back-off if they didn’t agree with the post. Well, that was just like throwing red meat to a hungry lion! I pounced.

In a very polite, calm and straight-to-the-point way, I advised her that the Republicans were not opposed (although they should’ve been) to the extension, they just wanted it to be paid for from existing stimulus funds, and not to be added to the national debt. Of course, the response was the typical “you don’t care about people”, “you have no idea what we are going through”, bla bla bla… The pity-party continued with “My unemployment check is $800 a month and COBRA is $900. You do the math!” Wow, so she was not only pissed that she was not getting a check, a check that long ago ceased to be from funds she, or her former employer actually paid into, but that she could not afford her health care. She actually believed that it was her right to continue getting paid to sit at home, and the rest of us Americans who were lucky enough to be working, needed to shut the hell up and keep sending her a portion of our money! She even went Biblical on me saying that it was my Christian responsibilty to “help out my fellow man”.

Things deteriorated quite quickly from that point as the vicious attacks coming in my direction from her, and her sycophant Liberal friends. I could barely keep-up reading, let alone respond. I tried explaining that the Federal Government should not even be in the business of “unemployment insurance” since it was, is, and forever will be another example of unconstitutional Federal legislation foisted upon the States. Well, all hell broke loose at that point, and her “husband” chimed in with a “cut and paste” of the Social Security Act of 1935. He, of course, was oblivious to the reason that Social Security even exists today. Maybe he missed that part of American History in school, but there was this little letter from FDR to Congress about wanting to pack the court with Liberal judges to get his New Deal passed.

From the Federal Governments own Social Security website…

The practical effect of this proposal was that the President would get to appoint six new Justices to the Supreme Court (and 44 judges to lower federal courts) thus instantly tipping the political balance on the Court dramatically in his favor.

SCOTUS got the message. Get onboard, or forever witness the destruction of the courts…

In March 1937, in a pivotal case, Justice Roberts unexpectedly changed his allegiance from the conservatives to the liberals, shifting the balance on the Court from 5-4 against to 5-4 in favor of most New Deal legislation.

Never let facts stand in the way I guess…

The culmination of their attacks came with the prolific use of the word “teabagger”. Perhaps one of the most offensive terms in use today by the Radical Left. I find it abhorrent and disgusting, but it is just another attempt to “personalize, freeze and marginalize the target”… I guess when you can’t have a civil debate, you have to resort to vitriol and vicious phrases.

When we win in November, the Left is going to freak. If I think that I saw hatred the other night, we ain’t seen nothing yet! It is going to take years of education of our youth, and re-education of a large percentage of the American populace. This will be no easy task, but if it does not happen, we will never get our Country Back! I can only pray for God to Bless us, and yes, the people I had the debate with the other night. Life is way to short to wast our time debating with the mad-hatters on the Left because you cannot argue emotion with logic!

Revolution or Civil War: The choice is ours!

We are nearing a crossroads in America at a very high rate of speed, and the brakes have failed! A decision will have to be made to yank the wheel to the Right or the Left. Either choice will have serious, long-lasting consequences, and the result will be felt around the world. “We the People” are in the drivers seat, and unfortunately, most of us don’t have a license to drive. It is our collective fault that we have allowed each other to “drive” through life without a license, and “we” have limited recourse at this moment in history. Will enough of us reach-up, grab the wheel, and with one concerted effort, steer this nightmare ride back onto a true course? God willing, we will.

From the moment that President Obama was sworn into office, there was a rift forming in America that started to open in a hurry. Within weeks, the euphoria and novelty of electing the “first black President” began to wane, and reality was setting in quickly. “We the People’s” eyes began to open, and what we were seeing was not Hope and Change, but Despair and Anger. The Tag-Team-Trio of Obama, Pelosi and Reid were aggressively taking strides to turn our nation into some third-world, Banana Republic, tin-pot dictatorship. The bailouts and take-overs of the Auto Industry and the Banks, the smack-down on Wall Street, the Health-care Deform, the Czars, and the endless list of atrocities, have taken their toll on ‘We the People”. We took to the streets to protest peacefully, we swarmed town-halls to the point that members of Congress didn’t want to show-up. We called, we faxed, we emailed, we got in their faces; but they have failed to listen to us.

The Tea Parties were born. Groups of like-minded, freedom-loving, patriotic Americans of all races, religions, and political parties, rose up to collectively voice their disapproval of the Federal Government and its policies. They failed to listen. We have taken back some prime Congressional seats in special elections, and hammered incumbent politicians in primaries. They failed to listen. We have begun to grab hold of the wheel, but will it be enough? We have the momentum, but do we have the political will, the fire in the belly, to fight the onslaught of Liberal hatred that is about to besige “We the People” in the coming months leading up to that fateful day in November?

I believe that we have two choices:

Revolution – Yank the wheel to the Right…

The Founding Fathers gave us the perfect form of term limits and regime change - the ballot box. Unfortunately, “We the People” have not been good stewards, or students, of history, and we have neglected our civic duty for far to long. Pitiful, painful, pathetic politicians have been elected and re-elected, over and over, to the point that our Representative Republic is a hollow shell of its former glory. That tide has begun to turn. I pray that it is not too late, and that our momentum does not wane. “We the People” have begun to rise-up and take back our country, and by doing this at the ballot box, the Revolution will be mostly peaceful, albeit very vocal. The Left will not go quietly into the night, and they have not even started to drag their artillery up to the front lines of this battle. We must be prepared to fight, to the death if necessary, because this “war” is going to get nasty… The Purple People Beaters, the Progressives, the ACLU, and the MSM will yell, scream, fight and lie till they’re vanquished. When we are at our darkest moment, with all the hatred spewing our way, will we light the torch of Liberty and stay in the fight? The good news is that we have our B-52′s loaded with truth and reality, ready to rain-down hell on the opposition. We have learned Alinsky’s rules well. We have studied the opposition. Will we take the fight to them and keep them on the defensive? Time will tell…

It will take decades of persistence to roll-back the Progressive, Statist mess we find ourselves in. Those in the general population who have had their hands out for generations, are going to be really, really angry when we start to trim-back and eliminate all the government programs, agencies, and regulations that have created the government-teat-sucking cycle of dependency. The road to self-reliance will be littered with the bodies of everyone who is unwilling to “change” or adapt to their new reality. We must be willing to step-over, go-around, or drive over anyone who stands in our way of re-taking our Republic! With the Online Right and God’s Might, we can win this war peacefully. There will be bloodshed, but it will be caused by them as they realize the DOOM they are facing. “We the People” will have begun the onerous task of righting this ship. No Liberal or RINO will be safe from our reach!

Failure to win this November leaves us only one other choice…

Civil War – May God have Mercy on their Souls…

If we fail to re-take at least one house of Congress, the peaceful Revolution will not happen. The match will be lit. We will be forced into a very ugly, bloody, Civil War that will make the first one look like a Sunday stroll in the park. The extreme Left will have at least two more years to cram-down Socialist legislation that will destroy America at her very core. All the crap that has already been passed will begin to take effect. Our taxes will skyrocket, our health care as we know it will vanish. The unions will have their Card Check and all businesses will be taken-over. “We the People” will not be able to afford gas for our cars, or electricity for our homes and businesses. Fifteen million illegals will be granted amnesty (health care, social security, education, etc.) and the border will still be wide-open. Our National Debt will roar past our GDP, and our country will be bankrupt. Life as we know it will cease to exist, and the dark-days of a dying socialist experiment will be our reality.

The Americans who still have some semblance of reality (and fight left in them) will begin to organize into small, then huge militias in the various States. The skirmishes will start out small in fly-over country, and there will be serious bloodshed as the Government attempts to quell the uprisings. Remember that match being lit? The Governments’ use of deadly force on her citizens will ignite the rage that will sweep across the nation, like a wildfire on a hot, dry prairie in August. A lot of very good men and women will die fighting for our Liberty and Freedom, but as Thomas Jefferson wrote…

“God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all and always well-informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had thirteen States independent for eleven years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half for each State. What country before ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion? And what country can preserve its liberties if its rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon, and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure.”

At the very least, the major metropolitan areas will be isolated (they are already surrounded by Red) and there will be no escape. To get anything in or out of a Blue county, it has to go through Red at some point. Good luck with that. When the Blue areas are sufficiently starved, they will come looking for food, and they will either be set right to the facts, pardoned or pacified. If not, we will refresh the tree of liberty with their blood!

Time will tell how things turn out. I pray every night that November rewards all of our hard-work and perseverance. We have an opportunity to change Americas’ course, and we must be good students and stewards of history. We must not let the radical Left retain power, and we must be dutiful to ensure that those we put in power, keep their word, and fight for us. Anything less than one-hundred percent commitment from our elected representatives is unacceptable. We know that power corrupts and it is our duty as citizens to keep their feet held close to the fire at all times. Serving “We the People” is not a career, it is a responsibility, and one that should not be taken lightly. They will listen to us or be sent home!

A few closing thoughts. For those of you that know me, I abhor violence and civil unrest. I like to be allowed to live my life as I see fit, and allow others to do the same. However, I will not stand idly by and watch my Liberty and Freedom be taken from me by our Government. I spent way too many years becoming an American citizen to watch her go down in flames. I will defend my God, Country and Family from all enemies, foreign and domestic. They can pry my gun from my cold, dead hand, as they step over the first half-dozen or so that try!

May God Bless America in her darkest hour.

Illegal Immigration – My Solution!

Solving the illegal immigration problem is really quite simple. Any elected representative or congressman may feel free to use my multi-part solution…

Step 1 – Militarize the Border

Deploy all available National Guard troops from every State to the border. Give them decent Rules of Engagement to suppress border crossers. Loud speakers, warning shots and detainment’s. If they are attacked, give them standing orders to shoot-to-kill. All captured illegals will be finger-printed, have their picture taken, and have a DNA sample obtained. Enter them all into a database. They will never be allowed to apply for legal entry – period! Bus them back over the border. If they are caught again, they shall become part of Step 2.

Step 2 – Build the Damn Fence

Do a nation-wide round-up of day-laborers without notice. This part is quite simple as you can conduct the raids at any home improvement store in the country. We can probably round-up tens of thousands in a single day. This group of illegals becomes our fence building crew. Bus them all down to the border and put them to work. To be humane, pay them 10 bucks an hour, give them food, housing and medical care. Allow them to send their earnings back home to Mexico, or their country of origin. Work them in three shifts, around the clock, till the job is done. Source materials from American companies. Individuals building the fence shall be allowed to apply for legal entry 10 years after they complete their assignment.

Step 3 – Cut-off the Incentives

Federal Mandate (as much as I hate them) to all States. Immediate removal of all undocumented individuals from every school in the nation. Immediate denial of any public assistance whatsoever. Only emergency care will be provided at hospitals. Arrest and incarcerate any city, county or state official who does not immediately take steps to ban Sanctuary to illegals. Arrest and incarcerate any employer who knowingly hires, or continues to employ illegals. Require all land-lords to verify the legal status of their potential or current tenants. Eviction within 30 days for anyone who cannot prove their legal status.

Step 4 – Stop the Money

Ban all electronic wire-transfers of money from the United States to all Central and South American countries, unless being sent by American Citizens, or legal residents. Any money attempting to be sent by unauthorized persons, shall be seized and re-directed to help pay for the fence.

Step 5 – Stop Foreign Aid to Mexico

Immediately cease all public funds going to Mexico. Demand that the Mexican government put their troops on their border to stop illegals from trying to leave Mexico. Any aggression displayed by the Mexican forces will be deemed an act-of-war, and appropriate steps will be taken by the US Military to prevent further acts of aggression. Upon successfully stemming the tide of illegals, financial aid may be re-implemented.

Step 6 – Anchor Babies

Immediately cease granting US Citizenship to babies born in the US to illegal aliens. Babies already born to illegals will be required to return to their home country with their parents. When they reach 18 years of age, they will be allowed to return to the US – without their family members who are not Citizens! No current anchor baby will be allowed to petition for legal status for their parents, or other family members, for a period of 10 years after their 18th birthday, and their legal return to the US.

Step 7 – Legal Immigration and Assimilation

All future applicants will be required to get in line. Yes, the line is long! It took me 17 years, so I don’t care if they wait that long either! All approved applicants will be admitted on a temporary basis. They will be given one year to become fluent in English and assimilate into the American culture. They will be tested at the end of the year. If they fail, they will be deported. If they pass, they will then be allowed to begin the process to obtain their US Citizenship. During the time from their admittal to our Country, and the granting of Citizenship, they will be forbidden from obtaining any government-provided social-services. This includes Medicare, Social Security, Unemployment and In-State tuition to our colleges and universities.

Is this harsh? Hell Yes! Is it fair? Probably Not! Life is harsh and not fair. What our great nation has endured for the past 40 years has been harsh and not fair. It is time for us to take our country back, and give a little pay-back in the process.

For all those that say we cannot possibly deport 10-20 million illegals, with my plan, we don’t have to. You cut-off their ability to work, go to school, or a doctor, they will flee on their own. It is either they leave, or they help build a fence, and then get pushed over when it is finished. Their choice!

In the meantime, support Arizona!

Gary

Condoms for toddlers – only in America

Dateline – Provincetown, MA

Courtesy of Boston.com

Students in Provincetown — from elementary school to high school — will be able to get free condoms at school under a recently approved policy that takes effect this fall. The rule also requires school officials to keep student requests secret, and ignore parents’ objections.

“The intent is to protect kids,’’ said School Superintendent Beth Singer, who wrote the policy that the Cape Cod town’s School Committee unanimously passed two weeks ago. “We know that sexual experimentation is not limited to an age, so how does one put an age on it?’’

“It’s about availability,’’ said committee chairman Peter Grosso. “We’re not handing ’em out like M&M’s.’’

[Emphasis mine]

I’m almost speechless, but let me take a stab at what is completely wrong with this scenario.

The inherent problem with Liberals is that they always think that they know better than those of us in fly-over country. After all, they are educated in some of the finest institutions of indoctrination higher-learning, therefore, they have the right to make decisions for everyone else who does not know any better… To hell with parental rights, family customs, and common sense, it is whatever they think is best for our young skulls full of mush!

I have serious problems with this policy on multiple levels. First off, what gives them the right to do with our children as they please? What gives them the right to undermine our parental wishes and to not give a damn if we consent or not? What gives them the right to determine the age at which our kids become sexually active? What gives them the right to give us the middle finger when we object?

While I understand that Massachusetts is a Liberal haven, and Provincetown is a Gay Mecca, I cannot fathom the audacity of their chutzpah. When they start handing out condoms to six year old school children who don’t have the slightest idea what sex even is, I will pray for the parents.

Here is a thought for all the ambulance chasing lawyers and prosecutors who might be taking some notice to this new policy. For every minor who is given a condom, file a lawsuit against the school district for child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. If it can be determined that the child actually used the condom, file statutory rape charges against the other party, and the school district, if the crime meets the legal requirements.

For a State that finally came to the senses and sent Scott Brown to the Senate, America expects better of you. We understand that it will take a very long time to root-out the degenerates who have embedded themselves into your elected offices. They are parasites, and only a very aggressive dose of Tea Party cleansing will scrape the barnacles off…

I’m guessing the the NAMBLA freaks who are quite pervasive in Massachusetts, and Provincetown in particular, are just itching to get the hands on some new victims. At least, they will be “protected”… I’d like to puke now. Please excuse me…

The Right to Work… Illegal or Not!

This afternoon at work, a co-worker (H/T DB) stopped me and said “Dude, you have to see this”. I came over to his desk and my jaw dropped to the floor…

I was stunned into silence and I’m still shaking my head in disbelief. Excuse me?

Where does Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, get the notion that all workers, legal and illegal have the right to a fair wage? Not only that, the level of audacity required to make a PSA on the subject, encouraging illegal aliens to report their employers, is mind-boggling. WOW! Hope and Change at their finest!

This administration never ceases to amaze me. I think that every Republican running for any seat needs to incorporate this into their message. When the vast majority of the American public is opposed to illegal immigration, is supportive of securing our borders, and are sick and tired of the endless assault on our Liberty, this will resonate!

Arizona took bold steps to do what the Federal Government has failed to do. I think it is high-time that the rest of us step-up and denounce this garbage, both the message and the messenger!

I’m beside myself in disbelief…

What part of Secure the Border does the President not understand?

The USA-Mexico border is 1,951 miles and we currently only protect 344 miles with a fence. That leaves 1,607 miles wide-open to illegal alien crossing, drug smuggling, human smuggling, and terrorists! When will our President and Congress take this problem seriously? When the Bureau of Land Management has to post signs like this in Arizona…

Do you think that there might be a problem?

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu thinks this is a serious problem…

“We’ve had numerous officers that have been killed by illegal immigrants in Arizona,”

[snip]

Babeusaid the violence in Arizona has reached “epidemic proportions” and must be stopped. “In just one patrol area, we’ve had 64 pursuits — failure to yield for an officer — in one month,” Babeu said. “That’s out of control.”

In his own words…

We have very-well armed, ex-military, drug smugglers who are many miles inside the United States of America, and they are KILLING our law enforcement with impunity! Are you freaking kidding me? This has been going on for years and nobody has done a damn thing to stop it! My head is about to explode…

How about this little gem on our side of the fence wide-open range…

For heavens sake, the American government is telling us to slow down so we don’t run over the border jumpers! WHAT??? I’m giving bonus points for anyone who doesn’t swerve.

When will the drones in this country wake up and realize we are being invaded? The ACLU, LULAC, LARASA and all the others can continue to lie, harass, misrepresent and scream all they want. This proud, patriotic American has had enough!

Have you?

Boycotts-R-Us… CA strikes again!

Here we go again in California, where yet another City Council decided to take a vote on whether or not they should impose economic sanctions on the State of Arizona because of their new anti-illegal immigration law. From the Sacramento Bee…

The Sacramento City Council voted Tuesday night to place economic sanctions against Arizona companies in response to that state’s immigration laws. The sanctions passed by a 6-1 council vote are on par with the broadest actions passed by other California cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland.

They include forbidding city workers from attending conferences in Arizona on the city’s dime, boycotting companies based in Arizona “where practicable and where there is no significant additional cost to the city” and potentially canceling current contracts with firms from Arizona.

This is exactly what happens when your community, city or State has been in the vise-grip of Liberal Command and Control for far too long. You end up with city council members who say…

“For those who would criticize us for using our time to address this critical issue in our country’s history, I would say this: How can we not?” said Councilman Rob Fong, who called for the debate.

Fong added, “I’ve never been more proud of us” and said the city was “standing on the right side of history.”

[Emphasis mine]

I think that “history” will judge things a little differently… OK, Mr. Fong, the city of Sacramento, and the State of California – game on!

Maybe Gov. Jan Brewer can declare a one-week moratorium on ALL goods, services and electricity that is supplied to California from Arizona. If the President can put 10,000 oil-rig workers in the unemployment line indefinitely on a whim, why can’t a Governor suspend the aforementioned for a mere week? When the lights turn off, bills aren’t collected, phones aren’t answered, the semi-trucks and rail-cars don’t arrive, I wonder if it will take more than a few days for the citizens of California to start melting down? How quickly will those city council members start feeling the heat from their constituents due to their misguided policies? San Diego is already feeling Arizona’s reaction to their boycott!

Lets ensure that the rest of the State feels the same pain!

Gary

The Presidential Redress of BP

As I was making my 75 mile commute home tonight from Las Vegas to Nye County, I was forced to listen to President Obama give his oil spill speech blame-game. As usual, whenever I hear that man speak, I find myself yelling obscenities at the radio, and probably looking quite deranged to other motorists. As I listened to his endless “not my fault, blame BP” nonsense, one part of his speech stopped me cold!

Tomorrow, I will meet with the chairman of BP and inform him that he is to set aside whatever resources are required to compensate the workers and business owners who have been harmed as a result of his company’s recklessness.

[Emphasis mine]

When I had recovered from almost driving off the highway, I was almost speechless.. “Compensate the workers and business owners…” Excuse me? BP was drilling in the Gulf under a legal permit and is contractually obligated to pay any and all costs associated with an oil spill, and up to $75 Million in liable damages, according to the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.

Our illustrious President is now demanding that BP compensate all the fisherman, shop-owners, inn-keepers and oil-rig workers who find themselves out-of-work because of the spill! Are you serious? It was bad enough when the President was talking tough about “boots on the throat” and “kicking arse”, but now he is directly violating the law, and trying to force a corporation to pay expenses that they are not legally responsible for!

While BP caused the spill, and they are 100% responsible for paying all costs associated with the clean-up, it is the Federal Government who is responsible to coordinate the actual clean-up. It is a direct result of the ineptitude of the organizer-in-chief, that we are two months into this disaster without a solution. Willfully turning down foreign assistance to protect your union buddies, delaying requests from the affected States (who just happen to be Red States), not deploying all available assets to the region, and IMHO, allowing the spill to destroy the region for political gain!

Americans are watching Mr. President, and we don’t like what we see. Perhaps if you spent less time playing golf, having parties and doing fundraisers, you would have more time to protect the Nation! If your staff spent less time playing beer-pong or having water fights, maybe they could come up with a few ideas? The American people were watching you tonight, and praying that you would have a plan to stop the leak, and clean-up the oil. Instead, what we got was your BP Bashing and a revisited sales-pitch for Cap-n-Tax, Green Energy and Global Warming. All the wind mills, solar panels and nuclear reactors will not put gasoline in our cars!

In America’s time of need, you failed us, and once again displayed that you are nothing more than a political opportunist!

Shame on you Mr. President, shame on you!

Gary

Two of the greatest gifts to the Republican Party!

Barack Obama and Sarah Palin!

Before you go into orbit and think that I’ve lost my mind, please bare with me and allow me to explain…

Our Great Nation had been at-war for almost eight years, fighting enemies on two fronts, in far away lands. The Liberals in Washington had spent that entire time Bush-Bashing, demeaning our Military, and the MSM had been on an unrelenting mission to destroy the Republican Party. We took a serious beating in the 2006 elections, and then again in 2008. Things only went from bad to worse for Conservatives.

Along came a young, up-start politician, who was very eloquent in his speech and demeanor. He was able to convince the masses that he had come to rescue the country from the failed policies of George Bush, and free us from the endless battles overseas. The press did not do their jobs, and they practically fell over each other trying to promote the Messiah! This was their opportunity to stick-it to the American people and assuage their White Guilt – the truth about this man be dammed. It was easy, almost comical, because his opponent was John McCain – an aisle-crossing, establishment entrenched, beltway-insider, who was a “Maverick” in the Republican Party.

The mindless drones on the Left, the impressionable moderates in the middle, and some on the Right, who were worn-out with politics, bought the sales-pitch - hook, line and sinker, and voted for Obama. Reality set-in shortly after The One was sworn in, and people began to realize the bait-n-switch that had just happened. Unfortunately, it was far too late…

Now, to get to my point…

Obama, with the help of Pelosi, Reid and the Democrat majorities in both houses of Congress are a HUGE gift to our side. Obama has gone so hard and fast to the Left, it has made heads spin. Bailouts of Wall Street, takeover of the auto industry, the collapse of the housing market, record unemployment, Health Care takeover, American Apology Tour 2009… The list goes on and on and on…

His relentless desire to change America into his Socialist Utopia, to take every problem he faces and fit it neatly into a part of his agenda, his willingness to throw loyal henchmen under the bus for political expedience, and his super-ego that truly thinks “We The People” are too stupid to understand, have not gone unnoticed. Mr. President, I thank you! I thank you with all my heart because you have single-handedly awoken a sleeping giant and boy are we pissed!

The rise of the Tea Parties, the Town Halls, the Marches on Washington by MILLIONS of patriotic, energized Americans, and the continued bashing by the MSM has only fired us up more. November is coming, and so are “We The People” to take back our Country!

The second gift to Republicans has been Sarah Palin. Since the day of her selection by John McCain, she has become a political firebrand for the Left. They were successful in defeating McCain-Palin, but they have not been able to stop her as a Conservative activist. Whomever Sarah endorses turns to political gold! She has become a lightning-rod for the Lefts’ hatred and is untouchable! We need her stumping for our Conservative candidates and energizing our base. As long as she is not seeking office, she can motivate the electorate and not become a political liability for our side. The MSM is beside themselves with hatred for her, the liberal faux-feminists can’t stand her, and she is Obama’s worst nightmare! She is the gift that keeps on giving!

Has she made some mistakes – Fiorina over DeVore? Sure. Has she endorsed some candidates out of loyalty – McCain over Hayworth? Sure. Does she absolutely believe in her heart of hearts that Conservatives are the only hope to take back our country? I hope so! Maybe the head of the RNC is in her future… I don’t know, but it would be awesome!

As the Dog Days of Summer are about to besiege us, I hope that we remember the gifts we have been given. If we use them wisely, we will bring about the biggest pendulum-swing in political history. Never look a Gift-Horse in the mouth!

Gary

All Hope is not lost, but it will be a long, hard fight…

Every once in a while, you come across a video clip or a story that just makes you say WOW! Those times are few and far between, but they provide the boost that your spirit needs - at just the right moment. This morning, I had one of those WOW moments. It is from a few weeks ago, during a Q & A session at Denver University. The panel was comprised of Dennis Prager, Sarah Palin and Hugh Hewitt.

There are days when I struggle to be able to explain to my 15 year old daughter what I believe, what I know to be true, and why our great country is in such peril from the brutal assult from the Left. I think this may help all of us…

<

Mr. Prager “gets it”! I “get it”! My goal is to help plant the seeds in my 2 year old daughter before she starts the years of indoctrination. I’m still working on the eldest..I want them both to “get it”!

Sarah rocked the house as well as she spoke about Cap and Tax, Immigration and Obamas foreign policies. Of course, she had to rely upon her trusty teleprompter notes while she spoke for an hour. See Sarah’s full speech here, courtesy of PalinTV.

For the past few months I have been mulling over my options on how I can best get involved in the good fight. We are in desperate times, and I see this Great Nation sinking into Despotism. I have collected a lot of dry firewood and ColdWarriors Precinct Project poured lots of gasoline on my dry timber. Yesterday’s post “We Won. Big. Now Whip It. Take a Walk in the Sunshine with My Departed Son.“ by Ron Robinson was the spark that started the fire!

I hope you all join in the fight with us to take back our country! This is the Hope and Change I can Believe In!

Gary
