That is an editorial comment cemented into what is supposed to be hard news. Nice to see journalists still have bias in their stories. Nice to see that if your President commits treason you have to wait for an election to remove him, yah right, we call that impeachment in this case the military carried out the order to arrest him.

I have to respect Honduras simply on the fact they have so much to lose. It is one thing for the USA to defy the world, but for a small poor country that relies on aide to stand by their constitution like this, this is what our Forefathers did on Independence Day.

The pilot of the airplane did not get permission to land the plane and it was diverted to El Salvadore. The Miami Herald has been doing a pretty good job of reporting.

I did not watch the Sunday political shows so I don’t know what was said. I do know things are happening on this Honduras issue at a break neck pace. Are our leaders and fellow conservatives making our voices heard? Are we going to show support for the Hondurans who are now ostracized by most of the world including our own government?

I have a lot of respect for the Honduran government and military as they stand up to this world onslaught. How do we show our support when our government officials are attacking them?

Is America, before the age of Reagan, mostly looked the other way when dictators took over in Latin. America.
And, sadly, all too often helped. But they were mostly right wing.
Remember that the CIA gave tacit support to Castro.
Obama is merely rejuvenating that tradition, from a leftward perspective.
He has, so far, pulled nearly all the stops to make Ltin America safe for Chavez to create an empire.

They were not paying attention, is the only excuse.
If they were paying attention, then they are even more stupid than I thought.
Supporting the purchase of Latin America by Chavez is imbecilic and nasty.
And puts American interests in harm’s way on a massive scale. Not to mention that by not supporting the rule of law in Honduras, which is exactly where we are, we are supporting a thuggery that wil sweep into our southern border all too soon.
Of it was Hillary who made the ignorant decision to support the destruction of Honduran democracy by backing the Chavez puppet take over, she needs to go.
If it is deliberate Obama policy to support Chavez in his creation of the Bolivaran Empire, run out of Caracas, then we are in trouble in a huge way.
Bush coulda shoulda woulda taken out Chavez when he as only a small tumor.
I said then that Bush’s biggest foreign policy mistake was not in the Middle East, but in South America.
Now we have a President either too stupid or to anti-freedom to know the distinction between ‘coup’ and ‘Constitutional power change’.
Chavez is happy either way.
