There is a big reason why America did not discover Columbus, and it has to do with trade, business, and capitalism. The indigenous people in America were in this respect of the same mindset as the lefties have been for the past 40 years. There was not a class of businessmen and traders comparable to Marco Polo in America to strive to sell and buy goods in far distant lands.

Columbus and other sea captains from Europe were looking for a new way to get to the silk and tea in China when they first sailed. I am proud of drive and quests of my European ancestors, and I loathe those who only want to arrest this kind of drive with their politically correct environmental victim drivel.
