Fred looks kinda rough here though. I don’t remember him looking that old. He needs one with Pawlenty too, because he can bring moderates, and Palin for GOTV and $$$, and this ad will also bring some $$ to the campaign I’d think

who wanted to help the country more than he wanted a job? Someone who’s life ambition wasn’t to be President, but rather to do right?

We had a choice that wasn’t the “politician as usual” that we so frequently decry, and we passed him up precisely because he wasn’t the typical politician.

Fred!! is doing more for conservatism and for America as a “failed Presidential candidate” than nearly all the elected Republicans combined. There is a lesson in here somewhere.

I didn’t care for his “aw shucks folks, mebbe I is runnin’ ‘n’ mebbe I ain’t” act for 2008.

Maybe in some order we could use a Thompson/Cheney ticket in 2012 – Jeri and Liz.

maybe we need to pull in that timeframe. Most of the retreads from 2008 don’t get me too excited.

Then again, maybe someone droll like Fred is the answer. “Sure I can’t give as smooth a speech as some people can. But haven’t we seen what happens if we elect a slick politician who knows how to campaign but doesn’t know how to govern?
