A conservative movement can only be led and followed with someone at the top. This is more than likely the most important election in the history of this country, please reconsider being VP. It may not be too late and your country is in desperate need of you.

Thanks Fred for doing this. I was one of the FredHeads you met a few times up in New Hampshire (there are some great pictures of you and Jeri with our then 3 year old boy). I’ve watched the Conservatives that came together slowly fall apart without a real standard bearer for the movement. FredPAC should help coalesce that movement once again. Another benefit of your candidacy is that you have inspired me to step up. Being a FredHead up here wasn’t always easy, and we had to be pretty self-reliant. While I complained about it back then it showed me that I was capable doing a bunch of things that I didn’t think I could. Talk about on the job training! On 5 minutes notice in Hollis, NH, I ended up sharing a podium with Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo, Mike Huckabee, and John Cox to speak on your behalf. By all accounts my extemporaneous 5 minute speech didn’t screw anything up, and got some good reviews. So, now I am running for the NH House of Representatives, So are a few of my fellow FredHeads in other districts. You did make a difference, and I’m glad to see that you will continue to do so. The major problem I have with this is, “taking seats from Democrats and holding seats to rebuild our majorities”.

What about people like Lindsay Graham and John McCain? They are Republicans (RINO’s) but they are against the Principles we stand for.

The second problem I have with this statement is, “We need to develop and promote the kind of innovative, free market and principles-based policies that led to our great political victories in 1980 and 1994.”

1994 was the worst batch of Republican majority we have had in the history of the party. This group lowered taxes and spent, spent, spent like left-wing liberals. They did nothing to curtail or end entitlements; they only rearranged them. They helped to build the worst deficits in our history. They made the Democrats look conservative.

Is this just to rebuild a majority of Republicans regardless if they are Conservatives or RINO’s? Do we want to put more sleazebags in office just because they have an “R” behind their name?

How about the young Democrat Senator from Mississippi that has “proven” himself to be more “Conservative” than many of the Republicans currently in office? Is he excluded from this pac because he is a Democrat even though he represents better than 90% of what we believe in?

Please clarify what you are saying here, Fred. I could get on this if the loopholes are closed.

Bottom line Fred, I will never vote for that traitor sleazebag McCain regardless of who his running mate is. McCain is a left-wing liberal. I will vote Constitution Party if Fred Thompson is not on the Republican ticket as President.

The Constitution Party is the only one that stands for every single principle you have espoused, Fred. So, you telling me to “Stand Strong” for these principles means I have to vote Constitution Party because McCain doesn’t even come close.

And who really elects the President, Fred? Not the American people; the Electoral College does. So, what is the Presidential election really???
