World Magazine is somewhat similar to Newsweek, but has a higher moral quality and gives a fairer hearing to conservatives.

I had totally forgotten the Sodom and Gomorrah piece when I wrote this. Thanks for bringing that back to me. I assume that bit was left out of the Newsweek article, among other reasons, for the negative connotation the very name of 'Sodom' has. We wouldn't want to remind people about that now, would we?

First, I am not ready to stand on a street corner with a sign reading "The
End of the World is Near!", but I am getting closer. Perhaps if I did not
have to raise 3 kids, well one is in college (arguably 'raised'), one is a
junior in HS (perhaps as raised as he is going to get), and one in first
grade (aahh, my work is here), I WOULD be on that street corner.

Without a doubt, the world is turning upside down (rapidly), away from
truths passed from my ancestors and the truths reflected within the Holy
Bible, towards a world full of debauchery.

Yes, I take total offense to the Newsweek article, and in a contemporary
analogy, I would remove my shoe and throw it at the magazine editors (and
writers), if I could.

However, getting back on task, there is another point which I have not seen
yet discussed from the above apostacy, the destruction of Sodom and
Gomorrah. By overlooking the fall of this city, due in part to the
practice of homosexuality, the left viewpoint is further strengthened.
Rare is the admoniishment of this sin so obvious, I mean, who in their
right mind offers up their daughters for sexual pleasure (Lot) instead of
giving into the cries of the town men for the two male angels who had
appeared (to "know" them). This is the ultimate repudiation of homosexuality. While it is understood the visitors were angels, they were in the form of men.

With todays double standard on sex, the loosening moral value system, a
financial system ravaged by greed, the 'wrongly supported' view of
homosexual rights, and the outright war on Christian beliefs, our world has
turned upside down....what was wrong in the past, is now right! And, I for
one, hate it.

Yes, Up side down cake is delicious (pineapple), but an upside down world is
untolerable.
