I figure there’s just maybe a week (two at most) before a few things happen:
1. At the next ‘totally and completely unprovoked incident’, The United States will cut off all military aid to Israel and ‘temporarily suspend’ other aid.
2. The United States will then threaten to stop Israel from ‘committing any more acts of aggression’, moving at least one carrier group closer in, with 24/7 CAP cover looking for IDF/IAF movement.
3. ‘Something rather large’ is going to happen within Israel’s borders and it will be a known attacker – proud to publicize the event to the world.
4. The United States and many other nations, once somewhat friendly to Israel, will immediately point the tip of the spear directly at Israel to prevent any retaliation.
5. It will be open season on Jews world-wide, much more than the ‘isolated incidents totally unrelated to anything anywhere’.
6. What happens here in The US is anybody’s guess, but it won’t be good.
The fuse is lit……….. The crisis too good to waste.

Obama thrives on chaos. That’s what a community organizer creates. Although this may be even more than he bargained for. The world is a powder keg, just like right before WWI. Obama is our Woodrow Wilson, but a thousand times worse.

More importantly, telling our ENEMIES that as soon as we’re back in charge – which at some level starts Jan 2, 2011, there is going to be one serious accounting. And we got no problems corn-holing some medium-sized country (like Venezeula, Turkey, Syria, or Iran) with about a thousand cruise missiles and take out their whole upper government and their military.
Just to set a tone.
And to the extent possible, to help keep Israel in one piece till we get back.

the other problem is, we can’t make threats/promises about any sort of accounting that we’re not 100% committed to completing. Otherwise we destroy any opportunity at diplomacy, and if we’re not successful in setting the “tone” we desire either by muscle or handshake, all that we accomplish is a stirring up of the hornets’ nest.
