It’s because the Extreme Left, of which Obama is a part, refuses at all costs to recognize that twisted Muslim extremists, who do not, in fact, have legitimate grievances, want to murder us.

Even when such extremists do in fact murder us, still the Extreme Left won’t acknowledge it.

Now, I wonder just how quickly, loudly, and at what great length they would make noise about an American soldier murdering an American Muslim (putting aside the much lower chance of such a thing happening)?

I too am truly saddened at the death of Private Long. I remember coming home from Parris Island and spending my first few weeks as a Marine working with my local recruiter, going to high schools and talking to students, beaming with pride at my recent transformation. Maybe Long felt the same way, proud, strong, and ready to serve his country even as it is engaged in two active wars.

When the President fails to respectfully acknowledge the murder of a fine young man in the service of his country – he brings shame to his office. When the Commander in Chief fails to acknowledge the cold-blooded killing of a Soldier through an act of terrorism in Little Rock, Arkansas, he brings shame to the nation.

This is only just beginning- this disgrace is not even marginally capable of understanding the true courage of a warrior, and should not be commanding them. Instead, he should be organizing the community to protest the killing and wounding of innocent Americans by terrorists- but I fear he’s generally indifferent to that philosophy.

This man is weak and taking us closer to destruction. He enables our enemies to become nuclear, while demanding our country rely on sun and wind; drives us closer to financial ruin; bows and panders to our enemies, while bashing our country; speaking out of both sides of his mouth.

We must keep educating our people, who have been dumbed-down for too long. Knowledge is power — let’s not lose it.

a title which until very recently was ONLY used when referring to the President’s role as Supreme Commander of the United States Armed Forces (and NOT in ANY other capacity), expressing your wish for a speedy recovery, and condolences to the family of deceased Active Duty Military Personnel is fine. But to insult them, and their fellow service members by failing to use THEIR titles!!!
Trust me, as a Retired member of our Military, my Rank and Title was as important to me as it is to the Pretender in Chief. Perhaps more so, I know what it took to earn MY title!
They might only have been Privates or perhaps even PFC’s, but the EARNED their titles as much, if not more, then you earned yours!
Of course, had you done them the Honor they deserved, for being what amounts to Killed in Action, you would have had to acknowledge that the has been another successful terrorist assault on America, on YOUR watch!
I’d say “bad form, sir”, but it is unfortunately, par for the course with you.

If it is so obvious to a child that the killing of that soldier and wounding of another is an act of terrorism then it must be obvious to the President of the United States of America!
I am frustrated and angered by the complete inaction of the media in the US at the moment and find it incomprehensible that there has not been an expression of outrage from the current administration.
I cannot begin to imagine the level of frustration you must all be feeling right now and will pray that there are no more terrorist attacks on US soil.

Guarantee the media will not confront Obama on his sinister biases to Islam. So how long will voters admit the mistake and even if the heat gets turned up on Obama, will it matter? Everything that has happened so far in this administration was foretold and the voters were warned. Obama has pracitically denounced Israel while approving of Iran’s pursuit of nuclear power. How much more evidence do Americans need to admit what has been known all along.

News starting calling and asking if he was going to issue a statement about William Long, they told Fox they “were working on it”…. Bret Baier was visibly upset about their attitude this afternoon on his show.

This from a man touted as erudite, with an overabundance of compassion. A man who wrote bestselling books, while campaigning, and serving as a Senator. Rising from political obscurity to our highest elected office almost entirely on the perceived strength of his words. A spokesman of such ability as to unite the whole of America.

President Obama has called for national service, as in his lengthy commencement at Wesleyan University–

“And yet, the history of this nation … tells us that we are a people whose destiny has never been written for us, but by us – by generations of men and women, young and old, who have always believed that their story and the American story are not separate, but shared. And for more than two centuries, they have served this country in ways that have forever enriched both.”

He wasn’t talking about military service per se, though every word must apply. Here was a young man, William Long, killed solely for his willingness to serve his country. But the President could not be counted upon to craft lofty words to a departed soldier, tribute so richly deserved, to a man who gave his life for this country.

William Long is now part of the American story. He deserves more than hollow condolences, and talk of prayers, without any praying.

Perhaps President Obama could have quoted from one of his Presidental Forefathers.

“I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic [he] died to save.

“I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.”

William Long deserves Abraham Lincoln. And words worthy of remembrance, lest the man and his life be merely a footnote, too easily banished from memory.

His family must now bear that solemn pride. But they are not alone. Can we not grieve for them.

This is like 9/11 all over again – thanks to the left the FBI was restrained from doing their job!!! This is serious and should be investigated!!!
